About

See your voice bloom with Sonapetal, a musical practice companion for iPhone and iPad. SING AND SEE Watch a glass flower light up with your notes. See the note name, octave and frequency in Hz together, with a tuning indicator, musical staff and full piano overview. The enlarged piano keeps its keys still while octave labels follow your register. Expand any Live section for a focused view. EXPLORE YOUR VOICE Follow relative microphone level in dBFS, recent pitch variation and notes you hold. Save a session with one tap to keep its note range, Hz endpoints and duration in Sessions. Open a practice recap for one observation and a short exercise based on the information available. Target-note practice can show distance from a fixed note. CAPTURE A MELODY Sing or play one note at a time to create a first-pass melody at your chosen tempo. Edit note pitch, duration and rests, hear basic synthesized playback, and export MIDI or MusicXML. Transcription is monophonic and may need correction; chords and overlapping instruments are not supported. MAKE IT YOURS Choose from twelve palettes for the glass flower, musical displays and controls. Live can listen automatically after microphone permission is granted, with a visible Pause control. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Microphone analysis and practice recaps run on your device. Microphone audio is discarded, not saved or uploaded. No account, ads or third-party analytics. Saved session summaries, scores and settings remain local, with standard iOS backup behavior. You choose where to share exported scores. PRACTICE WITH CONTEXT Detected range is not a voice-type diagnosis or your full comfortable range. Pitch variation can reflect intentional vibrato or melody; it is not an overall singing-quality grade. Microphone level is relative digital input level, not calibrated room loudness or a hearing-safety measurement. Choose comfortable notes and never force your range. Requires microphone access for live analysis and melody capture. Pitch detection is approximately 55–1,600 Hz; the full piano is a visual reference.

Great app!

Great for improving singing if you want to see what notes it is and it’s just one time purchase too which is awesome :)
