Wrecked
I’ll agree with other reviews. Used to be such a great tool. I got a new iPad Pro and lost about 100 songs. Fortunately I write my ideas to paper first and tweak them in the app so years of hard work didn’t go completely down the toilet but I’m leery of even using the app anymore.
Nothing to see here
As with previous reviews. Very glitchy that makes it labor intensive to use. Does it work? Technically. But it sputters along. Surely there is a better option.
Problems
This was one of my favorite apps for like years, but glitchy ness right now makes it essentially impossible to edit songs and I am looking at needing to transfer my work into a different app. Would really appreciate an update correcting the glitches in edit mode.
Do not buy
The app has been updated to “work” with iOS 11. Yes, technically, it runs. That’s about it. The text input is incredibly glitchy, the chord insertion feature doesn’t work, and adding sections to songs does nothing. It also looks like a lot of the import/export/backup features no longer exist. Dropbox sync is still there, but it’s using the old Dropbox API that is going to be disabled soon. Basically, it’s dead.

I've toured the App Store in search of a songwriting tool that would let me *write*. This does that exactly. The ability to logically structure and quickly reorganize a song is hugely useful, and the chord chooser lets me get a progression from my head to the page quickly. And because the app handles chord rendering, I don't have to waste time trying to space things out properly.

Was great...Now what!
This WAS a great tool, I guess the new owners don’t know anything about music; just trying to make a buck off us. This app no longer works like it use to, even after their last update to IOS 11. The text input is very disorienting (can not see while you are typing), and chords don’t line up with lyrics. Haven’t tried exporting to see if that function has been fixed yet, as I can’t even write a song on this anymore. Please fix this app or sell it to someone who cares - I am open for that discussion.
