Best app in this category
This was a great app. Simple, no-nonsense and intuitive to use. Been using this for a good decade or more. Don’t change anything but fix the bugs that keep the app crashing when exporting songs as PDF. Other than this A++++++++

Doesn’t format well in iPad
The user interface looks like a cell phone. Might be ok with a phone, not an iPad. Had to uninstall.
Pretty good for me
I use it for quick ideas which it is real good for that. You can lay out chords and record sections but not as straight forward.

I can’t get it to work right
Just download this app, seems promising but when I try to write my first song, after typing a sentence, it won’t display the words anymore. I’m still “writing” but it won’t show me. I can see what I wrote when I click on the view mode but I would like to see everything in writing in edit mode and not just the first line. I tried to get around this problem for like 20 min but can’t figure out. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but the fact that it’s so hard to figure out why it won’t display what I’m writing (in edit mode) is ridiculous.

Uggghhh
Okay so I love writing songs and then I came up with this brilliant idea for a song then I pressed plus and it said that I had to upgrade it for £5 and that I don’t wanna pay that much so I would love it if you made it cheaper. Anyway I loved this app when I could use it because I’ve written five songs on there and it just helped me think of rhyming words and it helped me write the actual song is because the app just it had all the right stuff and features
Just one more problem when I was writing a song it kicked me out of the app and I had to restart writing the whole song I loved my song and I had to change all the lyrics because I couldn’t remember it but if you could update that thanks.

I only had this game for 1 minute then I deleted it! Its so confusing! It doesn’t even show you what to do! It’s like they just expect you to know! I hate it and why is it called song writer when you can’t sing?!!! Jeez Louise I all I asked is for a song to make! It’s not like I’m asking them for money! Whatever I will never complain again I just think you need improvements 😁

Malfunctions
I really liked this app but the majority of the time when I use it and try to input the chords above the lyrics and tap on the insert button and press on the chord I want, it never actually shows up on the lyrics. Just leaves it blank. Would’ve given this 4 stars if not for that... it’s very aggravating.

Just what every songwriter needs!
I find this the best tool for writing my songs! It has everything I need for a basic band session.
I just struggle to import audio for song regions. I click on the ‘Link Audio’ and all that comes up it’s a blank-lined page, titled ‘Select File’.
Can anyone help out with this?

Needs to fix bugs
I LOVE the idea of this app, but it does not run properly. I just downloaded it with the intent of having an electronic way to keep track of all my songs. I put one song in, but it took two tries because the app froze and then deleted all my progress. I finished one song and started on another and the same thing happened this time deleting my completed song and the partially completed song. I’m so sad because this app has everything I would want to organize my music! Please fix the bugs and I would love this app so much!!! Please and thank you :)

Great idea but it won’t work
It plain doesn’t want to write the chords on my iPhone. I tried and tried to use the chord assistant to no avail. I checked the help. It’s not useful without the feature.
Some issues
When looking to move or delete sections of any song in the “Settings” icon, the application crashes. I hace to restart the application and stay eith sections I don’t want for my songs.

In my opinion wonderful
As someone who does sing and hopes that in the future I can become famous for it I find this app very useful because I always make songs in my head and fail to write them down this app also allows you go put chords and record what you want the song to sound like and I like to see the songs I have made when I was a child and watch myself progress love this defo recomend it !!!!:) 😆😆😆👏👏👏👏👍

Changes chords when out of edit

I find this app really great as it’s everything I need when playing , the only thing which I found a slight let down was in editing if you put in Abm when you come out it changes the chord to something else ? Doesn’t do it with all chords just occasional ones . If you could update then this would be perfect!

Terrible
I just finished a song, the app kicked me out, and deleted all of my work except the first verse and a prechorus I never wrote. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
