Songbox: Songwriter's Notebook

Songbox is a songwriting notebook made for singer-songwriters. Catch the melody you just hummed over your guitar or piano, and build it into a whole song before it slips away. CAPTURE IT IN A SECTION A song is made of sections: Intro, Verse, Pre-Chorus, Chorus and more. Tap ● to record. Another way to sing it? Add a take and compare. DRAG IT INTO A DEMO Drag takes into the bar at the top to set the order, then tap ▶ to hear the whole song. Want the second chorus idea instead? Just drag it in. Takes in the song are colored so you always know what's in. SING TO A GROOVE Set the tempo with a slider or by tapping along while you play. Record to a click or to 8-beat, 16-beat, shuffle, funk, bossa nova, reggae or ballad rhythms. TRIM IT TO THE FIRST WORD Set where a take starts and ends with a close-up that follows your finger. Cut the breath and the strum before you sing. The original is kept, so you can always undo. JAM IT OUT, KEEP THE BEST Record a long free run-through and export only the lines you love into sections. Played to the metronome? Cuts snap to bars, so they stay in time. LYRICS ALONGSIDE Keep lyrics and notes with each song. A TRASH THAT FORGIVES Deleted takes and sessions wait in the Trash until you empty it. PRICING Keep up to three songs for free. A one-time purchase, Songbox Unlimited, lets you make as many as you like. No subscription. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Recordings stay on your iPhone. No account, and nothing is sent anywhere.
