SOOOOOO not worth it!
I also happen to love the game show Beat Shazam, and I’m always “practicing” in some way or another. One of those ways was with a music quiz app that worked very much like Name That Tune, and the best part was that it used songs DIRECTLY FROM THE DEVICE’S PLAYLIST. Once again—DIRECTLY FROM THE DEVICE’S PLAYLIST. That’s a pretty rare trait among music quiz apps. Sadly, not only did I lose the app in an update, but I couldn’t find a suitable replacement with that exact trait. Then I found Song Capsule Quiz. I thought “This is perfect.” Soon as I downloaded it, however, the first thing it said was that I’m not an Apple Music subscriber. To that, I say “EXCUSE ME??????!!!!!! HOW DARE YOU!!!” Talk about misleading semantics. I hope you’re proud of yourselves.

Hey! Thank you for your review. As we said in the screenshots on the App Store, SongCapsule Quiz is compatible with Apple Music playlists. The app’s description also mentions that ”SongCapsule Quiz requires an iPhone running the latest version of iOS 16 with an active Apple Music subscription.” If you have any further questions about the requirements already stated, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Doesn’t seem to work

Crashes on start
Already rebooted the iPhone and also deleted and reinstalled the app. 🤷♂️

Not all playlists are showing
Response from developer
Hey, Leo! If you’ve created a playlist and it’s not showing up in SongCapsule Quiz, you may need to “share” it on Apple Music. To do this, open the playlist in the Music app and tap the “…” button, then tap “Share Playlist…”. This action should publish the playlist to Apple Music and make it available in SongCapsule Quiz.
