Extremely Limited Uses
It’s great that users can put together sentences, but the voicing function only works for about 20 times before it starts saying “this is the free version of Sono Flex.” Only the quick phrases have unlimited uses, but those don’t cover many of the requesting/commenting needs we use. They do refill, but i need more than 20 uses for my students.

Pronouns
I’m disappointed in the lack of non-binary pronouns; they/them/their have been singular pronouns since the 1300’s!!!
Actually autistic! Works for me!
As an actually autistic particle aac user this app along with snap core first have been life savers. Very interested in the paid versions of both apps!
Maybe not the lite version
Buttons are cut off at the top on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. How do you get this app to speak aloud? Also why isn’t there a tutorial ?

My daughter uses this app when she gets over stimulated and it helps her so much! I %100 recommend this app! I have one complaint. I wish that it didn’t say “this is is the free version of sono flex lite” after a certain amount of time. Then my daughter has to close the app and go back on. Otherwise amazing!

Why are all these apps so expensive we can’t afford it I am not spending £100 to be able to speak and the free options are crap and don’t work

Disappointed
I was hoping this would work for communicating with my students but it is difficult to us and on my iPhone XS the icons at the top are cut off and not functional. Seems like it would be good if it did what it was supposed to and were more user friendly.
Very very poor
Don't bother!!! Does not allow to demo. Picture on phone (6plus) view is half the size of a penny. Cannot use; will NOT pay for upgrade.
Great AAC app
Although it is not the full version, this app works very well.
Promising BUT
Wish it actually gave some indication of how many times it will speak before locking up the trial version, I would have spent way less time mucking about getting it to work. I still have little idea if it will be any use and now it will not speak any more except to tell me it is the free version. Not that clear in description that it will time out or how fast - hours? Number of words? not sure now!

We have a Tobii C-8 that's windows based and has the full sonoflex program . This Apple iOS app is a blessing and is simply
awesome .
Why ? Because now we can take a 100$ iPod touch to the park to use and not carry around the large PC unit that costs 5000$ .
The software on the iOS is almost identical and works great . It is completely customizable and you can add text , words and pictures easy . It's fast and has never crashed or locked up once .
Several other competitive apps are a ridiculous non affordable prices and there slow , and they have that generic feel and are missing many features . So overall were very happy with this and it's a true blessing for people with apraxia who cannot speak on there own .!

Automatically switching to portrait from landscape view . Use the camera inside the app .etc

This app has great prospects , my 4 year old seem to have little trouble using the program . But after three to four statements the app would just continue to repeat the sono flex advertising .... Frustrated my 4 year old to constantly have to restart app, I wanted to use the app over the next few months to get him use to it before vacation... He is completely non verbal. Not working out. I am in search of a program to purchase... That will work on the iPad and asus .. Tried app on both devices same problem

SMS suggestions
As an SLP working in the schools with limited funds, I like this app. I have recommended the full version to families after we have tried it in speech. I would recommend a couple of things: the write phrases and quick phrases are redundant. It's the same button with the same options. There are only 28 buttons on main page. Please give us the option of adding something else of more use. Also, when making context pages, I would like the option to choose where to put the icon rather than it falling in line. I understand the Fitzgerald system, but I would like the option to put it where I need it.
