Its ok especially for not having monthly fees
I'm glad to see plenty of others also agree that the addition of music isn't what we wanted when we originally got the app. When the music was added, my dad just died and I thought I was hearing voices when the app I fall asleep to has a church like choir "ummm" in the background and I couldn't quite place what was happening/changed. And all I did those first couple of days of grieving was stay in bed drowning out the world with nature sounds it took me a solid week to realize it's not me losing my mind, it's the app that's changed. So now I only use the stream one to fall asleep to. I'll take this over something that requires a monthly subscription fee

Added Music Ruins Beautiful Nature Sounds
I purchased this app for the crystal clear nature soundscapes. At some point they have added droning, repetitive meditation music over the top and there is no way to turn it off.
In some scenes, the notes of the music do not align well with the natural frequencies of the nature scene and creates more of a stressful atmosphere that if either of the sound sources were by themselves.
Please simply add optionality for the music so that users may enjoy natural sounds only. This would recover the app and restore the value of early users’ original purpose.

人の音楽は必要？
せめてon,off 機能は欲しいですね。楽曲がいい悪いではなく何なら小さい音で再生しているとほとんど聞こえないのですが微妙に気になります。(作曲編曲した方ごめんなさい)
No option to turn off music
Like other reviewers, I loved this app for the beautiful artwork and relaxing nature sounds. This is all completely ruined now and the app is basically rendered useless due to distracting New Age music that was added in some update, which YOU CANNOT TURN OFF. Please get rid of the music or at least have an option that allows you to have nature sounds only with no music. Why on earth would you design an app as beautiful as this, then ruin it with music you can’t turn off, I just don’t get it??

YOU RUINED THE APP
This was my favorite app at one point for the simple nature sounds but it has since Been RUINED with the addition of music. PLEASE STOP THIS!!! PLEASE GIVE US THE OPTION TO TURN THAT CHEAP MUSIC OFF AND LISTEN TO THE SOUNDS OF NATURE ALONE. THIS APP IS NOT AT ALL WHAT IT ONCE WAS I WANT A REFUND

Das die Hintergrundmusik dazugekommen ist war schon die größte K4cke, dass man sie nicht selbst ausmachen kann ist noch viel bescheidener.
Heute nach weit über einen Jahr mal wieder auf die SonosInsel geschaut und festgestellt, dass die eine der ehemals coolsten Anwendung noch beschi55ener gemacht haben…

Good sounds but the mediations aren’t good
The sounds are good, but the meditation voice can’t get over the sound. Even at full volume, the voice drowns in the waves

I really like the app 🥰 These sounds are very good quality. I give four and not five because there is no massive diffrence between the diffrent location sounds. I would like to hear a storm for example with thunder in the sea and in the forest. That would be amazing.

I loved the option where I just heard pure nature sounds especially the Lunar Beach was amazing. The addition of the background music ruins this experience and makes it artificial. Please remove this sound or at least make the option to mute it. For now I will give the rating 2 stars where before it was 5 for me without the background music.

Seit nunmehr 8 Monaten beschweren sich viele Nutzer über die störende Hintergrundmusik, die hinzugefügt wurde und es gibt immer noch keine Option, sie auszublenden. Das ist wirklich schade, ohne die Musik war die App klasse.
Ich bin enttäuscht
Die Hintergrundgeräusche gefallen mir gut und sind abwechslungsreich. Sobald aber eine gesprochene Meditation hinzukommt, ist das Ganze eine Zumutung für die Ohren, da die Meditation so leise ist, dass man sie mit den Geräuschen, die eigentlich als Hintergrund wahrnehmbar sein sollten, überhaupt nicht versteht. Das ist sehr schade, aber bestimmt zu beheben. Daher meine Bitte an die Entwickler, sich das mal genauer anzusehen bzw. anzuhören. Ich konnte dieses Problem leider nicht manuell in der App beheben.
