Sony makes great cameras and trash apps. This is so bad. It’s ridiculously terrible.

Why can't they just make it a bit more simple. Slow AF. Bugs like crazy. I need to spend 10 mins with chat gpt to figure out import.

Needs to support most Sony cameras even older models. If you’re going to phase out the old app then please give us the option to use this app.

Constant problems with connecting to camera after several times. Need to reinstall each time. Sony fix the app finally, whom do I send crash reports each time?!

The worst
I can’t imagine anyone in product design ever used a modern iPhone or Android to design this app. If you need your use it; you’ll spend 50 minutes of every hour just trying to get it to work. For such amazing hardware, it’s a massive failure when they designed the functionality of this app.

Me gusta mucho el poder pasar las fotos de mi cámara tan rápido, literal me sacó una foto en mi cámara, entro a la app y ya la tengo para subir a ig. Me encanta, eso si, a veces se me traba y no me deja pasar las fotos, pero aparte de eso muy buena app.
Disrespectful app
Begs for full photo library access for no reason. I guess Apple’s rules about that just don’t apply to Sony. You know you’re being screwed when the app needs you to agree to three different privacy policies.
Doesn’t work
Downloaded this to try to transfer some photos quickly to my phone and it just would not pair to my camera, i have a brand new a6700. Unfortunate that the app fails to do what it was created for.

This is the worst app I’ve ever used. I can’t believe a multibillion-dollar company like Sony released such a poorly designed app.
Lots of features, disappointing implementation
I love all the features, however the basic connectivity my camera and removing the import feature and switching to a blanket differential import has made this application nearly unusable for me.
Could be so much better. Privacy concerns.
Apple makes settings for sharing location while using the app and partial photo library access options for a reason. The app doesn’t allow for location sync unless you give it full time location access. It also interrupts usage every single time you navigate to a new menu pane if you don’t give it full photo library access. Although the remote control functionality is decent, it feels bloated with cloud related features and wants me to sign in. Please just let me use my camera and stop trying to take my data.

Made it much easier to import pictures instead of me having to go back to Best Buy every other two weeks to buy a new SD card reader that kept breaking
Not sure why you can’t transfer full size file to your device
Why won’t it let you transfer full size file, or if it does why can’t it be easier to find. Very frustrating!!
