Not good
Never got a wifi connection to the camera to work on iOS. Been coming back on and off for a few years now with all device updates to see if it they ever got it working. Works ok on android but still not good
I don’t like it one bit
I hate it I hate it I hate it. I’ve never felt such exasperation in my life to be excited to finally see my pictures on my phone instead having to connect to a computer just for my phone to not CONNECT… I’ve tried WiFi and Bluetooth which neither worked. So irritated beyond words man. Annoying… like I thought I was just stupid… but it’s literally just this app

There’s so many complicated steps to get files from camera to other devices and complicated settings.
There’s a new app
Was about to join the one star reviews and spew hate. I wasn’t able to connect and started looking into it. Apparently Sony phased this app out in early 2023. If you have newer bodies from about 2022 onward you should get the Sony Creators’ App which is essentially the better version of this app. More customizations and features too. This app still works for those with older camera bodies but for many of us, this app is hit or miss on connecting or overall usage….95% miss lol will review the newer app soon.

Do Better Sony
I spent way too much on my ZV-E10 to have to fight may way through this terrible app. Maybe you should stop selling that camera if you’re not going to support the app. I had to download a third party app to get my photos.
share location data
the only usecase for this inept app is to share location data from my phone to the sony camera. works sometimes. just randomly stopped the other day. forgotten my camera, too. such poorly designed and written software should be an embarrassment to sony. but apparently not cuz this is your lot. btw: a sony app that has never successfully recognised my sony camera. one star is generous for such ineptitude.

Never connects
I don’t need the remote functions, but I need to use it as a monitor. At Work work on an android but for my Apple it never connects. It’s all set to connect and start and just never does. This app is useless. And the fact that they leave it here without any viable updates to fix the issues is irritating.

Never connects to camera. Update this app.
Connecting is clumsy and unreliable.
Once set up, this application should connect instantly (less than 0.5 seconds) to Sony camera. Whenever I attempt to connect, I have to try IEM and a third party application alternately for 2-10 minutes to get one of them to connect. Generally, unless there is a serious need for remote control, I just don’t bother after a couple of iterations. For Sony to pander such garbage is inexcusable. Consider for wildlife photography? Forget it!

This app is literally terrible
Connect to the camera; it fails. Connect again, it fails again. Try logging in, you need a code via email, open email application and the imaging app goes back to the Home Screen so you can’t even enter a code, you need to start over. Start over, send a code, open browser to find code, imaging app goes back to home screen. It’s 2026, there’s no reason why a company as big as SONY, charging hundreds to thousands of dollars, for their app to be so underdeveloped. Returning my camera, I don’t like greedy corporations with mediocre services and expensive products!
Oh and try to use an Apple laptop… doesn’t even work. Hellooooo, most people have Apple products!! I see why this app has low reviews. Goes to show how cheap these companies are, while making their products seem worth the price. DO NOT BUY A SONY CAMERA!

Outdated App Won’t Ever Connect
I have the Sony ZV-E10 and it never connects. I’ve even reset everything to start over again. Shame I can’t use the remote functions. Do better, Sony!

Works great for me
Never write reviews, but the app worked perfectly fine for me. I have the Sony Alpha 6000 and I was able to connect it and upload my photos relatively quick. While it was a bit confusing at first I just looked through the instructions on the app and the photos got sent to my phone within a minute.
Horrible
I have a Sony EV Z10 and the app never connects. I always have to use a computer. I’ve tried connecting multiple times and I always receive the same message, “Connection failed.”
