Connect is awful
It’s such an unreliable connection. Often it takes 10 tries just to connect and then you’ll be lucky if it stays connected for more than 5 minutes.
Pathetic!
This app is a terrible way to maintain a customer base. Trying to connect my iPhone and my Sony camera gets more frustrating almost every time I try. To make matters worse, the connection often drops during the transfer process and I find that I have to start over. Perhaps I just need to shoot exclusively with my iPhone.

Downloading photo issues
App will not allow me to download images from my camera unless I give it full access to my camera. Had no issue in the past limiting access
Buggy and faulty app
After being in an infinite loop with the login which was only resolved by using a separate device (laptop) to view my emails to input a code, I found that this app doesn’t even let me connect reliably to the FDR X3000. Furthermore, the UI is so unintuitive that it makes the camera HARDER to use and more of a hassle. Not worth the remote view of extremely laggy footage. I would rather just download from the SD card the “normal” way and hope for the best with my footage.

Worst App for Cameras
Won’t connect and Sony won’t update the app. Use a card reader instead.
Don’t even try
This app is the worst I’ve ever seen on IOS or Android. It sucks data from you and then signs you up for a service you don’t want or need, and the only way to cancel is via a webpage only available in Japanese. All I wanted to do was connect my Sony camera to a iPad. Shame Sony make great cameras but can’t write software.

Have had this for a while now, and the software from when it first started has def increased since then.
Can’t even sign in
Asks me to use my passkey to sign in, but won’t let me use a passkey. Then I ask it to send an email, and then the login page closes and I have to start over. So stupid
Issues
1.You can’t control the focus from the phone
2.You can’t export or share videos from the app to Photos or files
3.Also, after recording, you cannot watch the recorded video you should disable monitoring mode and then switch to the transfer file

Horrible experience using this app, truly awful interface and very difficult to navigate.

This app requires full access to your photos in order to add photos, which isn’t necessary, and is part of a larger pattern of inappropriate data access.
ZV-E10 WON't CONNECT
What a horrible app. First the login was not seemless at all. It prompted me to connect with safepass but it failed to recognize it forcing me to login via email which still "failed" but when I exit the screen on the app it suddenly proceeds as usual. Okay I thought maybe a small glitch in the system I can overlook now that I'm logged in. I tried connecting my ZV-E10 via QR Code. Everything lined up. My iphone 13 promax shows connected to the camera's wifi but I wait, and waited, and wait even longer and for nearly 1 hour I still see "failed to connect". I went through their help website, followed all the FAQ recommendations, made sure my camera is compatible which it is and nothing. I see only 1-star reviews on this app and I can see why. What's most upsetting is that it seems Sony abandoned this app and potential users.

No app would be better than this POS
It is extremely glitchy, occasionally connects with my iPhone. QR code connect doesn’t work, have to repeatedly enter WiFi password. Horrible app.

Better than nothing
I wish there were more transfer options like instead of max 2MB we could select whatever max we want. Also an option for transferring/converting raw files to phone with size options. They transfer tiny images only if you try to transfer a raw image. Otherwise I have to shoot in both raw+jpeg for every shot just to have the option of transferring to phone.

I downloaded this app in hopes of getting the memories off my camera without having to use a computer, this app clearly states that with the help from “Imaging Edge mobile” I’d be able to complete my mission.
This app is 100% unreliable, doesn’t make any sense and is probably the worst clickbait I’ve seen. Do not download for which this app is wasting your time, my time by stating false information in order to use us all for rates and their own enrichment.
