Okay

It’s okay but I wish the communication was better between the computer and the app. I alternate between the two and whenever I use my iPad I have to go into see my progress to see where I left off, because the app will remain at whatever point I stopped on previously, even if I moved on the computer. I also wish the app had the read to me tool.

Doesn’t work

It worked up until today. All I get is a white screen. I reinstalled and nothing. iPad Air 2, iOS 15.8.4

I rarely rate apps poorly or at all, but this is a disappointment. An education app not having a ‘read to me’ function after seemingly years of saying it’s in the works is ridiculous. Textbooks costs way too much money for them to not have an accessibility design.
To note- it should be possible to listen to the text while having the app in the background. I would pay for this app if I could do that. Whoever is developing this- you can make more money by adding that and just charging a one time or monthly fee. I’d hate to buy it but I would to have access to a listening function. There are a lot of people with disabilities that need this.

No highlighting/notes!

The app is ok. What would make it better would be to have the option to highlight text and take notes! It’s a huge inconvenience that this isn’t an option since I read on the go a lot. Please add these features!!

Useless

I wish I could give this zero stars. Where’s the highlight and note function? It completely defeats the purpose of downloading the app to make my life easier if I can’t do simple things such as taking notes for my classes. Back to the desktop.

No read to me

Looking at the reviews, having no read to me function has been an issue. I like the read to me so I can listen and multitask other things. It’s been a year and still no read to me functions!

Developers fail to deliver

Several reviews complain (rightfully) that the app has no read aloud function and no highlighting function, and the response from the developer has been that these functions are in the works. Yet, they first said this a year ago. How have neither been added to the app?

Embarrassing to offer an app of such poor quality. They should have waited until it was ready because this is unacceptable.

Very disappointed this app doesn’t have a read to me function or the ability to highlight within. This app isn’t useful.

Works good but needs a tweak

The app has so far worked fine for me as i am able to read my text and easily access the contents. The only inconvenience is the highlight option isn't available which puts my at a major learning disadvantage when i’m on the go and have to use my tablet. Hopefully this will get fixed soon

Add “Read to Me” Function ASAP

Please add the “read to me” function as soon as possible. This app is totally useless without it.

Where’s the extra flap ??

I HATE TO GIVE IT A 1start🫣😫😭On the website there is an extra flap on the top right hand side that unfolds with a menu that holds certain information and settings that help to make using the app to efficient. The flap that includes the “read to me” setting. As and online student from SNHU I enjoy the fact that I can listen and do my assignment simultaneously. Can we please add that to the app?!?!!!?

Use your laptop

Where is the read to me function?? I downloaded the app to listen to the textbook on my phone for mobility but the app really lacks functionality. I am better of lugging my laptop around.

Fantastic for doing homework on my commute

This app is great for doing homework when I dont have cell connection or internet. Then it auto syncs again when I have service. Its a delight.

Can't highlight or make notes

I downloaded the app to use on my iPad and make things easier for myself. But you can’t highlight or make notes in the app??? Cmon it’s 2022.

Slow and outdated

For the amount of money that they charge for textbooks you would expect more than a pdf with a couple videos. The app interface is slow and not visually pleasing. There is no way to highlight important text or bookmark a certain page. No option for text to speech so you can hear it while taking notes. Overall just a crappy pdf it would be easier to just download as a pdf and be able to access on a more versatile app.

Fix expeditiously

My app wasn’t working so I deleted to download it again. Only to find out it is now a different app. So I have the old app in my phone and the new one in my iPad and thank God I didn’t delete the old one yet because I NEEEEEEEEED the “read to me” option which is NOT available in the new app. I don’t like it at all. That is how I got my work done. I can’t always have my laptop to read it to me on the webtext and my phone is distracting which is why I used my iPad. I’m being a little animated here but seriously, work on this asap please. I do not have the blessing of being able to concentrate while reading. I end up reading the same sentence 100 times. I need that “read to me” option.
