Authentication seems broken
I have been using this app to track movies and tv series for years and I like it. But right now I suddenly can’t access my account any more. The app starts up with “verify your phone number” and when I do so I get the error “phone number is used by another account”. But I only have one account and there isn’t an option to change the account anyway. So basically I am locked out. Very disappointed.

Honestly, it should be on everyone’s device!
I LOVE Soon! Ok, it’s a tiny little app with only a few reviews but I can’t find anything that comes close to doing what it does. If you’re like me, you like to keep lists of everything - not just books and movies! This is what you can log: Podcasts, Games, Places, Cafes, Hotels, Museums, Stores, Bars & Clubs, Restaurants, Music, Books, TV Series, Movies and…. you can create your own lists.
It lets you mark things off when they’re “done” which is helpful for me to look back and remind myself…. Yes, there are things that could be improved and it’s not super sophisticated the way other book tracking apps are ….. but I don’t need all that and I want to track more than just books! I want to have one place to collect all these bits of information and Soon does exactly that! Have a look. It’s great!!!!!

Great for storing all of the things you want to keep track of! Whether it’s movies, TV shows, podcasts, restaurants, books, etc, this is perfect for keeping all of the things you want to get to in one place
Can’t create an account
I was so happy to found out that this app can have more than just movies lists, but after adding my info it continues to load (no end to it) and it never creates my profile :(
Very clunky
I couldn’t log in on my iPad having successfully signed up on my phone. Later I couldn’t access the app on my phone! Deleted both.
Can’t login anymore
I had made an account before and then got a new phone. Now it keeps asking me to verify my phone number and then telling me that my phone number is “already connected to another account.” It is certainly connected to an account - mine. Please fix this bug and let me login again!
Used to be great
I loved, recommended and raved about this app. I’d have liked it to be a little bit more customisable, but otherwise it was great.
Now, it’s really hard to add things how and where you want them; adding new places is laborious and I don’t even bother. In my last review I said I’d be happy to pay for this app - I’ve deleted that review to say I’m looking for a replacement.

Frustrating
Since running the update I Can’t sign and therefore I have lost access to my stored info

Updated to the “new” version of the app, as the old one seemed to no longer work.
Now when trying to log in with my email, it just takes make back to the waiting list screen.

Don’t waste your time
You need to know someone who has an account to send you an invite, or you are stuck in limbo waiting for soon to send you one. My advice give 🧡 “LikeWise” a try it tells you where you can find movies/shows to stream, how long they are, books, the number of pages, where you can buy them, & podcasts & where you can find them, as well as giving you recommendations on what you have liked, all while not having you sit around waiting for a responses that will probably never happen in a timely manner

Getting signed in
I tried to set up my account over 12 hrs ago and it seems I have to wait for a friend to invite me. Madness. 3 of us are trying to set up and none of us can. How can this be. ?

It immediately wants your phone number before it even shows you the features. No. Way.

New update ruined the app
Now the app FORCES you to provide a phone number, out of nowhere, for no good reason, or you loose access to all your lists. Please reverse this at once!!!
The new update also reordered all my lists and won’t let me put them in the order of my choice.
Also why on earth would you get rid of the search bar?
The app is still filled with bugs, and the latest update has not made things better, but WORSE!

HOW DO I GET AN INVITE
thats dumb why wouldnt u let more people in? Why even bother getting a app open to the pubic if its an invite only??? GET IT ON TESTFLIGHT OR SOMETHING NOT ON APPSTORE IF I CANT JOIN?!?!
Hoping for an update!
I love this app and the functionality in general. I have used it regularly for about a year to track books, movies, podcasts and tv shows. However, I have shared it with a few friends lately and that’s where my frustration has been. They can’t download the app and/or get in without an invite - and I have tried over and over again in every way possible to invite them but to no avail. So all upsell about the SOON app and the sharing of lists is all for not. Not only can they not download it themselves (why?? Don’t you want more people to use it?) but we definitely can’t share or collaborate anymore. I’m almost wondering if this app is in its dying days and not being supported anymore as it seems to me that this should be the core of what it does- allow people to download and use with or without invite - and then require an invite for collaborations only. Would love an update from the developer to know their plans as I definitely need to get my lists off if it’s going to be shut down soon. Otherwise, PLEASE PLEASE fix the access and invite so others can starting using and sharing, cuz when it’s working it’s awesome!!! Thanks and hope to hear an update! 🙏
