I use this app to steam Korean baseball games and it is truly an amazing app.

Discovered the slop website because I am interested in see KBO. On website but wasn’t doing subtitles. Found app but they barely have any videos. Under the KBO channel…there are no videos at all. Navigation through this app is hard as well

seems like i cannot post soop-panel emotes/emojis on it, though. they come up as {::}, when i try to use them from the "Recent" tab in the panel.
Bad app don’t even try
Tried to watch a streamer 10 times and watched the stupid McDonald’s ad more than I watched them. If I tried to watch another person it let me watch it easily cringe flipping platform go back to afreeca

From the perspective of a (small) streamer
I joined soop pretty early on in the Beta to try to get in on the ground floor of something that I saw promise in. Since I started it feels like Soop only cares about a handful of partnered streamers. It feels like no matter how much I stream I can't break into the threshold of partner because 1) the audience is still small and only big streamers are promoted 2)Soop claims to be an international platform but as an american streamer I feel like I'm being left out of a lot of the events and opportunities. SOOP has a chance to change the game with their platform by making it so smaller streamers can get discovered, people from all over are included and able to have a voice and foster a truly inclusive community. Currently the way Soop is going it feels like it's going to a worse version of twitch. It doesn't have to be that way. With a little effort and outreach, Soop can make it so small streamers have the chance to get discovered, foster a community and make it big. I am also a Twitch streamer and I have a lot of pre-existing commands and integrations into my channel. If Soop was able to partner with Nightbot it would allow so many streamers to create custom commands for their channel as well as a built in moderator. The current moderator for Soop is Chatmate and Chatmate only seems available to be usable by hand selected group and the application process is confusing and hard to access. I think the subscription price and the diamond system is very well built but can be improved. Overall I would say my experience is 60% good and 40% frustrating. I hope Soop continues to improve in the future and can change to make it better for everyone and not just their top level creators. - S1Ngularity

Broken App
Terrible streaming service. The app barely ever works for livestreams, totally broken. The website is only slightly better. Very disappointed.
Terrible app/ unrealized potential
It’s a carbon copy of twitch, just without any good content. When it first rolled out we were promised that we would still be able to view the AfricaTV content, which turned out to not be true, Streamers from that platform have to make a new account and dual broadcast, which is a logistical nightmare for them. Then there is the issue where they are trying to charge 10% more for gems than they are for balloons, the corporate greed knows no bounds. Lastly they somehow got Apple to remove all of their previous reviews and are now trying make it seems like they never happened.

Over promised and under delivered
Don’t waste your time. The app is underwhelming. No access to the afreeca tv content like what was said in the notices to switch over, and they increased the prices for the digital currency. It’s 10% higher than what I paid on afreeca for star balloons, and it scales. Overall they promised a lot and delivered a little, giving us content that no one wanted or asked for. That’s why here in the US the app is mostly empty of viewers even during peak stream times.

What’s the point of this
I downloaded the app and was immediately disappointed, I couldn’t see any of my favorite BJ’s from AfreecaTV, on top of that I have to make an entirely new account instead of just using my Afreeca login. Why would I stick around this app when the content I want to watch isn’t on this platform. This is the dumbest thing ever.
