Great idea - needs fine-tuning
This is a very useful app (and fab idea), but it is suffering from a few bugs that have caused me some grief. The frame rate on the script will randomly drop to the point where it’s juddering across the screen, which throws me off while filming, and there have been several occasions where it crashes at the point I try to save a recording, and that clip is lost forever! If these two points are ironed out, it would be five stars, but at the moment it’s not as reliable as I’d like.

Fantastically smart
I’ve just used the scriptwriting function (no recording) so far but I couldn’t believe how intuitive and smart it was. My script was an audio script with loads of SFX prompts/edit notes that I assumed would confuse the AI, but it didn’t at all and the resulting script was near perfect. I’m a journalist new to promoting stories related to my podcast with vertical video, and I’m planning on using Sophiana for all of them now. Thanks, Sophie!

Please allow us to turn off screen flip
The meta data on the exported files causes havoc when I have to import it into CapCut- every time I cut the scene it flips the video (scene by scene which makes it look like I’m flipping and flipping across the screen). My best guess after tons of googling and testing is that there’s a meta data issue caused by the way the app mirrors the image and then exports the footage. I love using the teleprompter feature here because it’s so easy to copy/paste/record but I’m going to have to cancel my paid account if there isn’t a solve for this - seems simple enough to add in the setting or option to not mirror the image.
