What's New in Kino

1.4.3

June 10, 2026

Now that Halide Mark III is out, we're going to spend a bit of time digging into how we can make Kino even better. We're starting with a small update that fixes an issue with the VU Meters caused by an iOS update. - Team Kino

User reviews

Love the app, but…

I was hoping you guys would continue to support the app through to the release of the iPhone 18 pro, but we’re yet to see any update…

An app so good, it made me love the iPhone 17 Pro Max more

This is what makes LUTs easy to use

No updates nothing new

iPhone 16 plus. I rarely use it because it has no updates and lacks controls. It records nice but it has to be modernized with new effects. It’s like an app that was created and forgotten!

Excellent but not perfect

If I could give the app 4.5 stars I would.
It’s such a phenomenal app and is really nearly perfect.
The only misgivings are the onboarding / app tutorial / app navigation. There were many times I was confused on what a mode did or how to navigate the app. Lastly, I would love for there to be more native app LUT options.
Still. This app is basically perfect.
