I LOVED This Game, But It’s Not Playable
I was one of the first players to download Sorcerer: Duel. I loved it so much; it was my favorite game at the time. I could not stop playing it. Because of this, I was able to easily overlook all of the grammar issues and put in my input on necessary balance changes, which was initially heeded. However, one outstanding issue sticks out above the rest, and it is the matchmaking. This is largely due to a lack of player base. If there is no human match, then you’ll be matched with an easily defeated CPU, which I feel is just a waste of time. That would be fine if the CPU’s rose in skill as you progressed and used all sorts of different sorcerers, but there are only 2 or 3 and they are all easy to beat.
That aside, support for this game by the developers low-key ended a year ago from the time of this posting. Since they released it, nothing about the menus or anything but a few spell statistic tweaks ever really changed. Many players gave their feedback, but it seems this project has been abandoned. That is a real shame because this was one of the most engaging games I have ever played. My advice is to not waste your time, but maybe if this game got the love it deserved then things would be different.

Great game
I picked up your game and love it. The dynamic changing aspect of battle is amazing. I just wish you could add more spells and make them easier to get. In the top 100 players none of them are high enough leveled to cast meteor lightning or stasis. Keep up the good work though!
Needs more content
Needs more spells mostly and as someone else said, one combo and the rest are counters (or defense) I just play Dave and pressure the opponent to every extent by stealing spells, corruption, and rock to end the game soon.
Great Game!!! A few updates and it’s a favorite.
I love the strategy aspect of this game! You can adapt your deck and change strategies during the game! The only problem is that not all counters are effective and there is limited spells.
More spells would be ideal & I would love a better ranking system.. having a 90% win rate is great when I’m not playing noobs!
More content and a couple of fixes and this will definitely be my favorite game

Would be better as an Arcade game
At first it struck me as a very fun game but then quickly started to lose its bling so to speak.
First major issue was the fact it’s way to easy to lose to someone weaker than you. Makes you feel like the game a progression system is in a vacuum. And you’re not actually more powerful just more tenured. Which is not how this type of game should feel.
Then the pay to win mechanic is kind of in your face. Which won’t change even if the games balancing issue is fixed. Thus making this a game that would be awesome as an Apple Arcade game.
But with the two issues I can’t continue to play this game.

Great game
This game is so fun. I have spent about 5 hours on it in the last 2 days and it’s such a thrill pulling off sick combos. I am at around 600 rating and I’m enjoying the game but I’ve only lost twice. I’m not bragging saying I’m the best I’m just saying that the people I face off against are not good. I feel like I’ve only played against a real person maybe 6 times. The other times i feel like I’ve been playing against bots who don’t know how to counter the same combo I do over and over. So I’m conclusion great game with great mechanics but it definitely needs a better matchmaking system.

Thank you for your comment and encouragement. A big update will be up very soon, we spent 9months to rebuild it, it will be more stable and balanced, and a much better matchmaking system where you can compete with universal players, thank u once again for being serious to our game
A couple of problems that require fixing
At rank 2427, there aren’t any AI sorcerers to fight, so finding a match becomes borderline impossible. There are only about 8 people with a rank that high. The update months ago definitely helped the game, lowering the mana costs for some of the more taxing spells like Reflect, and removing the status effects for some spells, like Ignite and Arrow(I would recommend returning the status effects but making sure they only do 1-2 damage[no more than that] every second for 4 seconds). But now the pairing system needs to be fixed, or at least put more AI sorcerers into the pairing system and gradually remove them as more players join or remove the ranking system all together. The win/lose system with do is very unbalanced as well, winning giving 2-3 xp against an AI sorcerer, and taking 50+ xp away when losing. Actual players are a different, slightly more balanced story, giving 20+ xp(completely dependent on what their rank is though) and losing 30+ xp. On another note, the alternate skins are far too difficult to acquire. I would suggest making them purchasable with the in-game currency, either coins or diamonds, the green energy things, but not real money. Keeping it at 4000 seems reasonable unless you use diamonds as the required currency. You could also give offers so the player could choose which currency to pay. Last thing, and this one is completely situational, is if you could give us a time at which Guilds will be added. The option on the lobby bar at the bottom of the screen says it’s coming soon, but that doesn’t really clear things up, especially when this app has only been updated once so far(still really appreciate that update), and that was a good while back. I guess my actual question is when will the next update be coming, hopefully fixing the mentioned problems. Everything else about this game is great.

Great game
This game is fun to play and easy to learn. I had an issue where I logged out by mistake and lost my game data, but the customer service team was great and got my account restored quickly!
Create a guest register
Tried the game with guest login. Played for w few weeks. Its pretty good. Then I logged out and lost all my progress. Sorry not gonna reinvest all that time just because the game didnt save my progress.

Fun simple engaging gameplay. No Paywalls or intrusive adds. With more spells, characters, and maybe items like armor outfits that grant buffs or special staves or stuff like that this could be one of the best apps out there in terms of customization and playstyle variation! Would love to see tournaments and the guild feature their working on. And base building bc im a sucker for it!

Serious balancing issues. Otzi’s special ability is The definition of OVerpowered. Without a ton of variety in the spells i find myself using the same combos over and over again. Cant wait to update this rating once you guys add to an already pleasant experience!

Good Game!
Everything in the game seems real good I really enjoy playing it. But, I keep fighting the same persons even though I defeat them many times their rank star thing dosent drop at all. Also they are not in the leaderboard. They must be bots. If so please remove them. Or add a game mode for AI .
This game is awesome
This is the most amazing strategy I have ever played. A lot of people are complaining about unfair combos, but I’ve been playing the game for a week now, and I have found zero spell combos that couldn’t be avoided (if you can’t stop them, then its better to first start actually looking at the defensive options given to you to stop them). One of the best parts of this game is learning other players fighting style and using it for yourself, or looking for weaknesses in said fighting style and exploiting them. Also, props to the developer for basically making you start with everything you need to become no. 1. Yeah sure, there are locked spells depending on your level, and different locked characters, but they feel more like new ways to play, instead of just better ways. Honestly, the only issue I saw might be about the tutorial being unspecified on what shields block what and what offensive spells go through what, as I saw quite a lot of players constantly using the wrong shield for the wrong attack, then again, this could just be intentional to encourage exploration of the mechanics. Either way, AMAZING game, and I hope other people will support it, as of the Time of me writing this, it only has 3.2 stars, which is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. Anyways, 😄/10, highly recommend.

Game is fun but wouldn’t get invested into it until it gets better matchmaking
I’ve put a good 4 hours into this game as it’s very addicting but I’ve quickly picked up on a lot of errors. The biggest error, and definitely what kills the game for me, is the matchmaking and SR system. I was at about 800 rating and would be matched with 500 rating players. I understand the amount of rating you win/lose should be different but the difference is so significant that they shouldn’t even match the two. As I’d win against 500 rating I’d get +2 rating which feels like a waste of time and extremely risky. I got matched and lost to a guy with 240 rating. I lost a whopping 50 rating!! That put me back at least 5 matches and up to 20 matches for those +2 rating matches that you get so often. Keep in mind this is just Arena 2. It makes progression unnecessarily difficult. Most of the pre-game tips have grammatical errors. There isn’t anything that tells you what the chests give so you’re stuck wondering if they're worth getting. Same applies for the skins. I have no idea how you’re supposed to unlock them.

Room to Improve
It has a cool art style accompanied with interesting mechanics and varied customization of spells and avatars, but it lacks the quality of life that it needs. Missing features, buggy load times, and small player base make it irritating to play. Future updates would fix these issues, but as it is, I find it to be unplayable.

Good game, some bugs
Bug 1: when someone uses erkans transfusion, the bat sound stays for the duration of the game instead of 5 seconds.
Bug 2: somehow, someone used daves ability to take two of my spells instead of one.

Buggy crashes
Seems cool but can’t advance past first match. Game freezes.
Balancing
The fighting between levels was a little off for me, since I went up against people with stronger spells like rock wall and reflection. Also some of the heroes are used a lot and for example Dave was used a lot to steal a spell while i was literally the only dera in ranked matches. Training for me was also hard since I only knew ten spells max. The main problem I had was that I sometimes play against the same opponent multiple times. Yeah I like rematches but the fourth time I nearly deleted the game. I do recommend getting this game, but the heroes need to be more balanced, so be aware.

Game rewards turtling
Game after game I get beat due to the sole fact people use barrier and restoration only and can outlive due to that. Either fix the barrier ability or make it cost more. Ruined my experience for a otherwise interesting game
