About

When something happens far from home, the first question is often the hardest: who do I call? The emergency number changes from country to country, and that is almost never the moment to find out by searching online. Global SOS exists so you never have to search. We have gathered the emergency contacts of countries around the world in one place, organized in a simple and direct way. In just a few seconds you can find the number for the police, the ambulance, the fire department, and the general emergency number for wherever you are. The idea is for the app to be useful exactly when every second counts. That is why the search is fast and the screen is clean, with no distractions. You open it, find the country, and the information is right there in front of you, no detours. Global SOS was designed for people on the move, whether for work, tourism, an exchange program, or the digital nomad life. It is worth a look before you board and, above all, the moment you arrive somewhere new. Knowing these numbers in advance brings a peace of mind that makes a difference for the entire trip. Keep in mind that Global SOS is a reference and lookup app. The numbers are provided for informational purposes and may change over time, so in a real emergency, always confirm the valid local number. The app is a support tool, not a substitute for the official guidance of each country's authorities. Download Global SOS and travel with greater peace of mind.

What's New in SOS

1.0.1

August 26, 2026

This update fixes two issues found after launch: • The app could freeze when switching countries while the list was scrolled to the bottom. Fixed. • The title at the top of the screen didn't follow the in-app language change and stayed in the previous language. It now updates along with the rest of the interface. Found a problem? In Settings, tap "Report Bug", every message is read.
