A nonprofit designated driving program created by The Safe Ride Foundation of Frederick County Maryland, our area's only 501(c)3 anti-drunk driving organization.
Two friendly volunteer drivers arrive, one drives you home in your vehicle while the other follows. That's it!
Founded in 2016, SOS Safe Ride has now prevented over 19,000 DUI offenses in Frederick County as it celebrates over a decade of volunteer service to our area.

What's New in SOS Safe Ride

Branding (closes #719, #720) — ~25 user-facing strings standardized on the client-confirmed convention: SOS Safe Ride for brand-identity surfaces (iOS launcher name, MaterialApp.title, web title/manifest, Stripe merchant name, system toasts) and Safe Ride for in-app prose (permission prompts, dialogs, errors, share text). Web title/manifest descriptions replaced the Flutter boilerplate. The driver toast dropped "Payment processed." since completion is being decoupled from payment in backend#640. Documented exclusions preserved: #SafeRide hashtag, the 'SafeRide Ride' analytics dimension, FacebookDisplayName, the saferide URL scheme, and Dart identifiers.
