Buyer Beware

The concept of this app is wonderful. And, for a long time, it was suitable for my purposes. Now, each time I look at a card or edit any of the selections in its file, the image of the card degrades. The image gets worse and worse every time you access it, to the point the card is unrecognizable. Until this is resolved, I would not recommend this app.

Images Changing

Every time I edit a card or add information it appears the image gets more blurry. Very sad…

Not 100% functional

Good luck trying to update any previously entered cards, tried to modify the date and it wouldn’t let me dial in a specific day, it just landed close to what I was trying to select. After I saved the change the card/image became pixelated and I had to replace it. Super frustrating for such a pricey app.

Images blurry in new update

I was excited for the update after so long, but I’m very disappointed that the card images I’ve entered since updating are very blurry. That’s very important to me. The point is to have them all in one place, not have to reference them somewhere else to get a clear image.

Please make card images clearer again!

I’m glad the app was finally updated but I’m disappointed that I’m finding the cards I added before I updated my app show up so much clearer than those I’ve added since. It’s a very noticeable poorer image quality that takes away from the value of the app. I generally have loved the old version because I had my deck with me at all times. Now the newly added images are distracting and the app info says in order to enjoy clear images to create a designated album in our photo gallery to refer to. Really?? And who cares about all the functionality of the slideshow and zooming in if the images we’re seeing are fuzzy? PLEASE BRING BACK CLEAR CARD IMAGES!!

Loving the newest updates

The newest version is AMAZING. Backing up through iCloud is a breeze, allowing me to readily use, then sync, the app on my iPhone, iPad and even on my iMac. I follow the suggestion to also create a back-up with current date in my Files app.

Version 2.0 has other tweaks, in response to feedback, primarily visual. I cannot recommend this app highly enough, for anyone who has created a SoulCollage® card and tasted its potential to "discover your wisdom, change your world." That such a quality app is free after my one-time charge of $29 is unheard of in today's tech world.

I do readings several times a month, with now more than 300 cards created since 2004. Today, a "5-1/2 Clown Chakra" card of Seena Frost came up in my 4-card reading, bringing a smile and reminding me to find humor in even the most dire of life situations.

Tap your deepest knowing

This brilliant App is ahead of its time. The cost is competitive and remains comparatively underpriced, compassionately for optimal access. I create and consult SoulCollage® cards for healing and personal growth. Nearly 20 years after making my first card, no healing modality or professional relationship has been able to restore flow and perspective as readily and graciously as a 4-card reading. I’ve gone years without using my cards; yet, when life became tenuous, I was grateful to have this App with my 300+ cards and years of journaling in my hand. I’m continuously amazed at my “wisdom” from previous readings that immediately invited me back to the present moment—once again whole within, despite inevitable seasons of life chaos without.

Needs an update

Great way to keep all notes in one place and organized. Great for connecting with cards while traveling. However, needs an update to better incorporate physical cards with use on app. For example…I want to pull my physical cards and then record The reading in the app, but it doesn’t let me select cards. It only does it randomly.

This feedback is very much appreciated. We did incorporate this new feature in Version 2.1, whereby you can now add a previous physical Reading into the App by selecting the cards, just as you suggest. Select 4-Card Reading then Enter Previous Reading to accomplish this. Enjoy!

Obscenely expensive . . .

. . . and not as much flexibility as there should be in an app this costly. I should be able to upload all my cards without having to complete all the descriptions and categories. I have 65 cards and I’d just like to get them in the app. I haven’t been able to figure the suits on all of them, so I can’t upload them yet.
There’s nothing else out there like it, I guess that’s how they justify the cost. I’ve found that the SoulCollage organization overall is hyper money focused and not very accommodating to creators needs.

Thank you for your feedback. Note that the App is a product of Hanford Mead Publishers, and is not sold or supported by the SoulCollage organization. When uploading your cards, there is a provision to select Unknown for the Suit, so that you can enter the card and go back later to update the data once you've decided what the Suit should be.

Great for easily carrying my cards with me!

I am new to SoulCollage but I’m finding it fascinating enough to have bought this app to organize my cards digitally and carry them with me. I have 5 cards in so far and the app has generally worked well. It lets you view your cards in several different ways and put names, suits, dates, and notes in for them. It gives the options of pulling one card and doing a 4 card reading. I haven’t tried the 4-card reading as I don’t have many cards in yet, but it looks like the 4 card readings can also be saved. You can also export all your card data to be saved in case you need to completely re-install the app (or put it on another device) and then you can put the data back in. One suggestion for improvement: today after having the app for a little over a week it suddenly said it was unable to launch/open the app. It had the download symbol by the icon but it didn’t automatically update it from there. I went into the App Store. It didn’t appear as an app listed to be updated, but when I searched for the app and downloaded it, it did update and kept all my card info intact. It would be smoother if the process automatically updated from the app icon. Having to go find it is an extra unnecessary step and it may confuse some people. Now it’s working fine again. Overall I’m grateful to have this app - thanks for creating it!

Support and updates needed

This app was introduced to the SoulCollage community around the end of 2013. After a long inner debate about the ridiculously high price of this app I decided to buy it.

The good things are the ability to sort, store and have access to all your cards. The process takes awhile but is worth it when you are finished.

Sadly there appears to be little or know updating and although help, including an e-mail contact for support come with the app, there has been no response. To charge $30.00! for an app and then not respond to concerns or questions is insulting to the user and an embarrassment to SoulCollage.

Lacks A Lot

I knew the app would not justify the cost, but there isn't anything close to it out there. One star because it Really Needs Development. Beside the cost, which is obscene!, there ought to be a way to do different kinds of readings. I like to use Celtic Cross for bigger questions. The back up process is clunky and, again considering the cost, ought to hold one's data seamlessly between devices. Currently one must either email to a laptop or upload to iTunes. Lastly, there is an apparent lack of development. I expect there to be updates and tweets to improve the app over time. Especially for the price. I don't mind paying folks for what they do. At the same time, the cost doesn't seem to be used at least in part to make a better product.
The synopsis: starting at 5 stars for a product I can't find elsewhere, subtract one for each of the following:
- No apparent on-going development
- Clunky backup that isn't on the same level as other apps
- Inflexible reading formats
- Cost

Thank you for your feedback. Backup was indeed clunky, and we've completely revised this and added quite a number of new features. Unfortunately, support for other types of systems, such as the Celtic Cross, is beyond the scope of what we are able to support.

Great Resource for Cards

I love the app, although it's more that I've ever paid for an app. I love that I can organize and store cards and readings. It's easy to use and lovely. The only thing I see that needs to be added is the ability to classify cards as a Counsel Suit, which is not included as a choice, yet it's in the book as the 5th Suit. Hopefully that will be an update.

Thank you for your feedback. At the time you wrote, there was an issue with the App in which the Council Suit (and also Unknown), which are at the bottom of the list, did not appear on some devices. This has been fixed in subsequent releases of the App.

This is a very nice app, although the price is way too high. I would also like to see a feature added that allows you to blindly flip through your deck of cards and stop at one for a reading. Kind of how you shuffle the cards in your hands and choose one for a reading.

The App does have this feature. Go to View Cards/Slideshow/Random and the cards will appear one at a time in random order. Just tap Pause at any time and you can go to the record for that card. Or, if you just want to pick a card at random without looking, use the Draw One Card function and it will pick a card for you at random.

Lovely app to showcase my cards!

I really like this app. Been making cards since 2010 but haven't really done many readings because they are often not near me when I need an answer. This app allows me to ask my cards important questions at any time- and I can do it privately which I love. I wish I could make the cards bigger during a reading without having to click two more times to make the image larger. Overall, I really really really love this app. By far it is the most I've ever paid for an app.

This is a wonderful way to not only have your cards on your iPhone and/or iPad to view and show others but also a convenient tool to use your cards "out in the world" for writings and readings.

Blown Away

I am totally blow away with this app. I've never paid for one before but this is worth it.
It is easy to use. I have an iPhone so taking pics of my cards, editing them, then importing them into the app was a snap.

I spent about three hours this evening doing just that to my 45 or so SoulCollage cards. The cards looked so good in the slide-show. I was proud of how beautiful they looked. It showcases them so nicely.

Doing a reading was so fun and being able to just type in your feelings made it so simple. Knowing I have a permanent record is helpful too.

A personal app for daily readings at our fingertips!
Being able to share our cards and SoulCollage wherever we are -fantastico!
