Sound & Safe. The ultimate call for help. The basic app is free for all to use and allows the user the ability to add an SMS recipient to their list. Someone who can help in times of emergency. You have a "Come Fetch Me" option if you are alone and do not feel safe. The "Come Fetch Me" feature allows you to select form your list of pre-loaded contacts as well as enter the number of an alternate person. For the user that wants the App will also listen for a ver specific phrase that will allow you to activate your request for help by just speaking the phrase. Your GPS location is used and shared with the pre-loaded and pre-approved person/s that you have selected to get your location. For a low subscription you will be allowed to add additional contacts as well as link yourself to an approved Community Protection Forum or CPF, the CPF will receive your request and render assistance. For the CPF you have the ability to request to be part of the Sound & Safe network and request to be added to the list of approved providers. Once added you can register your CPF and allocate responders as well as get a mini dashboard of all active emergencies in your area. Sound & Safe is the ultimate call for help in rendering the South African citizen emergency response as and when they need.
