Can’t Access Issues

I subscribe to the physical magazine and used to be able to view digital issues, can’t anymore.

Can’t download issues

As a long time digital subscriber issues will not restore. So many problems still with digital mags.

RIP OFF

MyTimeMedia LTD knows nothing about app support or costumer service. I subscribed to S&V a few months ago only to suddenly have all past issues removed and the app acting as if I don’t exist. Customer support blames my user ID or my IPad Pro.

Same company is in charge of the Stereophile Mag and the same issue occurred there a few years ago. I should have known better.

What Happened?

This app has worked perfectly for me for quite years. Earlier this week my library was empty and could not refresh. My subscription is active. Worked with support who told me this would be fixed today and nothing happened. Great service for a very loyal reader

Can’t open magazine.

I can’t download Nov issue of Sound and Vision. I get error message. Contacted help desk no response. What is going on nice to know I am not alone with this issue.Bob Sluyter

I thought this was a tech magazine.

I have a subscription. On the Oct/Nov 2020 is when I select read on my iPhone it says “error opening issue”. So I tried my iPad. My devices are up to date and share all subscriptions However for Sound and Vision Oct/Nov it is asking me to pay for it. This is a very poorly run app.

It’s just ok

The problem I have with it is I didn’t buy the digital copy through Apple App Store I got mine through the web site. But my issue come to me through Apple and I’m be asked to buy the issues that I already payed for. So not happy about that, I’m working it out through the customer service with sound & Vision. When it comes to the actual reading the article in the issues I have no problem with pdf’s are clear and readable back issues for a price you could buy them that’s ok too.

Why no love for Apple subscribers!

No updates since April/May issue... no matter how many times you hit restore... if you are that desperate for me to go direct to your subscription service .. just ask.. nicely!

Can’t restore purchases or downward new issues.

I’ve been a print subscriber for many years. I plan to stick to the print version because this app is basically useless.

Every couple of months I cannot download my issues. I contact support and they do something. Then I uninstall/reinstall the app, and it works for a few months.

I am an app developer so I know this stuff is not rocket science. How they can put an app in the store that doesn’t have basic functionality is beyond me.

Can’t download the Feb/March issue. This is a joke.

Good read. It’s going to be hard for the magazine to keep current now it’s publishing only every two months. The app and the subscription service linking is terrible. I just want the latest issue to be ready and accessible. It never is but the automatic renewal works really well!

Can’t restore purchases or download issues

I have been a loyal subscriber to Sound & Vision, previously Home Theater Mag as well, for a long time. I have always looked forward to a new issue when it arrived. However, that enthusiasm has been dashed as I am unable to download any new issues despite restoring multiple signs. I have contacted Zinio for resolution. Is it too much to ask for an app to work in such a basic way?

Cannot Restore Purchases - Just Clear White Screen!

I’ve subscribed to S&V for years. In the last 6 weeks I have not been able to view any magazines. I follow the steps to restore purchases but nothing is ever restored. All I see a clear white screen!

This needs to be fixed!!

I update my online subscription every year with Sound & Vision magazine! You can't beat the price considering how much money I've saved over the years on my home theater equipment and components simply by reading all about the products on S&V mag! Longtime customer and will continue to be!

Horrible Update

This latest update will wipe out all your previously downloaded issues so you will need to download them again. This update also removes the very useful feature where you can jump to any article from the magazine's preview or contents page. Touching the article on that page now does nothing. You will have to open a separate contents list and then scroll down to that item. What used to take just one step now takes several steps. I know it is nor easy making an app. The original app was great! We just ask that you at least don't create an update make things worse for your customers.

Hello Valued Customer. Yes, you will need to re-download your previously purchased issues so that you can enjoy them in the new responsive mode. By touching the article, you can activate responsive mode which allows a better reading experience on mobile phones. There is also a bookmark feature and table of contents feature that you can use to easily and quickly get to your favorite articles. Please be patient and take time to get family with the new app features and look. Thank you.

Flawless

Not sure why others are having problems. This app works great! I like the part that when I want to go to a referred web site, I just tap and it takes me there. I use Apple product. Not sure how Microsoft products work with this. Believe me I have been thru some crappy apps. This one works great.

Horrible tech Support

Won't let you create an account, so you can open on another device. TEN is a nightmare to deal with. You've been warned!

If this magazine gets cancelled, they will take away all of your back issues. Also, support ignores emails.
