I’ve paid enough for a working app
I’ve given you close to $6k between two receivers and a sound bar. I deserve SO MUCH BETTER. Not useable. Doesn’t connect. Doesn’t let me adjust settings (that’s my favorite, waiting 5 seconds for my settings to go back to where they were). About to take a hammer to my soundbar. Thanks Yamaha!

Excellent Soundbar
Yamaha SR-X50A & WSX1A (Carbon Grey) is excellent but I wish the app was modernised and given a fresh look and more intuitive to match the soundbar I use. Big fan of Yamaha, always have been… keep up the work ✊🏼

App and soundbar are intuitive and easy to use. Very good spatial audio and sound!
Great but…
A great option, specially as it doubles as an alexa. The only thing is that I haven’t been able to turn it on by voice command. Searching for the remote control becomes a hassle.

Interrupts me with using the app
Performance and sound rate three star. Because the stupid app asks for a review while I am quickly trying to use it the app gets one star. Stop interrupting me! Request review when I exit the app instead of when I am frantically making changes while watching a TV program. Also, worst remote ever. Responds poorly and slowly.

Not work for AST-1070 soundbar
Should indicate app works only for selected models and device must be WiFi enabled. App description use the word “Select” is confusing and correct one should be Selected.

Difficult app
Half the time you cannot find how to get back to the main menu to turn off the Sound Bar. This app has a mind of its own. Very difficult to navigate. Garbage.
