SOUND COMPASS brings approach cues, recorder-track organization and sound reports into one focused workspace for production sound teams. • Fix the filming site with GPS and review aircraft and rail approach cues where supported data is available. • See route names, above-ground or underground sections, track distance and estimated time to arrival. • Organize MIX, boom, lav, plant and other sources in recorder-track order. • Record track number, color, performer or role, microphone, transmitter, frequency, status and notes. • Create performer or role candidates from cast-sheet images and PDFs, then review before assigning them. • Log production, scene, shot, take, file, sound roll and recorder details. • Select fields and export sound reports for PDF, CSV, Excel or Google Sheets, and PNG workflows. • Use daylight and night views, edit lock and screen-awake controls on iPhone and iPad, with companion information on Apple Watch. Location is used to fix the filming site. Approach cues depend on provider and network availability and do not guarantee an arrival or a quiet window.
