This app uses Licensed Clinical Social Workers instead of actual psychologists, these counselors are rarely equipped to deal with PTSD or trauma. App functionality is poor, chatbot can only answer a very narrow set of questions. If you’re a veteran in need of assistance, go find another resource this isn’t it.

Absolutely blown away with how amazing the app is-and the cadre of of people!
Needed Resource
This app is a much need resource in the space. If you have a clearance and would like to talk to somebody without worrying about the risk to your clearance then this app is for you. As the charity continues to grow and gain more resources it will benefit more and more people in the spec ops and intel communities.

Good
My location is Virginia and I was just a “normal” veteran aka not spec ops or anything and there are multiple peer supporters to pick from and two clinicians to choose from. Pretty straight forward process!
Typical “veteran support” resource
Battle buddies are limited only to spec ops organizations and clinicians are only available in limited states. Worthless to the rest of us.
Problem with state help
Limited by state. NC has no help, saw the app on the news and figured I’d try and nothing available in NC.
