Boring and glitchy
Ever since my child started the program it has been very glitchy and does not record her progress at all . She hates it so much that when I tell her to do it she shouts she always says it’s boring so please make the program cheaper less glitchy and not boring we don’t want a screaming child crying because of this program this is why I gave this app a one star

Auditory processing disorder
This worked great with my son. It was quite boring and repetitive but unfortunately thats the way it needs to be. Put a reward system in place and push through. Massive improvement in his focus and listening after 10 weeks. Love that it can be revisited when u feel the need. Make sure its done somewhere out of distraction and i suggest parents sit with child.

Worked for my child!
Sound Storm is a really great app and helped remediate my child who was 5 at the time. It requires discipline for the child to regularly play the games (and the parent to monitor) and get through it all but it worked really well for us and showed in my child’s huge improvement in being able to hear soft sounds amongst background noise by the end of it. It requires patience and the results are gradual but by the end of the program my child had improved significantly. By the end my child could hear very soft sounds amongst background noise and was easily within the normal range. Highly recommended for children with APD/SPD as part of a remediation plan. It worked for us and we’re very glad to have used it. For us it was easily worth it.

Bugs / glitches - upset daughter
My daughter is 2 weeks into this program and I’m hoping that she’ll improve her SPD, however some of the things that I found in the time having this app is that each time she gets a new planet, the first story plays, not the next story, which is frustrating. Also, some days she’ll complete her 2 sessions but not get a token at the end of the day and this really upsets her because she works really hard each day and she feels like she is not rewarded for her efforts! I paid a LOT of money for this app so it is pretty upsetting to see the glitches!! Please fix these problems and hopefully future clients won’t have the same issues as my daughter has!

Cured my sons’ SPD
My 6yo son was diagnosed with Spatial Processing Disorder. After 3 months of Sound Storm he was retested and had been completely remediated. I agree with the other review that the game isn’t very interactive in that there isn’t much for the child to accomplish with collecting gems and such. Perhaps they could use them to ‘buy’ the items needed to complete the planets.
However, as far as being successful in treating SPD, I certainly can’t fault it😊
