No longer works
This was one of my favorite apps on my old iPad. The only thing it didn’t do was to except midi volume changes, but I was able to achieve that by running it through GarageBand. Now, on my new iPad Pro, it distorts on every sound and it crashes often. If you fix this I will be very happy to give it five stars.

Not stable with iOS 13.6
App doesn’t work on iOS 13.6 using an iPad Pro and keeps kicking me out the app

Not Ready for live performance
The app has a lot of features but lacks volume control over each sound, the effects are not standard for 2016.
To say this is a pro app sorry it needs an overhaul.

Not stable enough
Half the time it crashes on launch. Trying to use it with Audio bus is a lottery. The app is wonderful if and when it works but it crashes too much, if very fussy on the soundfonts it reads and would only be worth the money if the whole thing worked flawlessly (which it doesn't) save the money an buy "midi Keyboard" cheaper than bs-16i which is also cheaper than SF Pro but the thing about midi Keyboard is it will load any sounfont (including one I have that is 1Gig in size. neither bs-16i or SF Pro can do that.

I"m Really disappointed.
The sound fonts just do not play, I hope someone sees this and fixes the problems. I using the latest iOS 8.4 , when the fix comes I do another review. But for now buyers beware and don't purchase.
UI needs improvement. App needs iPhone support.
The SoundFonts that come pre-installed with this app are very good quality sounds, and it is neat that one can split and layer instruments as one would on an arranger keyboard. However, there are several bugs that need to be addressed:
1. Sound becomes garbled when using sustain pedal.
2. Continuous sustain on sounds such as pianos, electric pianos, guitars and cymbals,
3. It is not possible for users like myself who are blind and use Apple's VoiceOver screenreader to adjust effects. Better VoiceOver support would be greatly appreciated.
It would also be great if there was a version of SoundFont Pro available for the iPhone as well as the iPad, or if it could be made a universal app.
All this being said, I'm afraid I can only give this one a 1 star rating.

A complete waist of money and time!
This app crashes on me constantly. It doesn't seem to work well with more high-quality soundfonts and only seems to work with the ones already provided with the app.
I definitely wouldn't trust it in a live setting.
SoundFont's which are working perfectly fine on my Mac work don't work with this app.
Currently when I start this app it is shutting down straight away because it is having problems loading a large piano SoundFont i had downloaded and will not allow me to get passed the welcome screen.

Features rich, unable to play professional soundfonts
This program has many features, however is unable to play several sf2 files that other soundfont players in mac or windows are able to play without any problem.
I contacted the developer more than two months ago with this issue. I have many professional soundfonts that I'm able to play in Ableton Live and Propellerhead Reason flawlessly, but SoundFont Pro can't play them.
It's a pity since the program potentially can do a lot with sf2 files.

Crashes in iOS8
App opens splash page and crashes. Hopefully a patch is forthcoming, or integration with the Audiobus SDK update. Either way hopefully support is on the way.
Very poor polyphony
This app is a good concept but the polyphony limits mean it is pretty much useless when NOT using the screen. IE using an external keyboard. It constantly locks and freezes when more than a few notes are played and held, and locks immediately when using a sustain pedal.
One to avoid at this stage. It needs HEAPS more work yet, especially at more than $10!

MIDI control!
please please PLEASE implement MIDI learnable control over the parameters in this otherwise very powerful soundfont player. program change by MIDI control seems like such a no-brainer. if there's a way to do this i'm having trouble figuring it out.
but, of course, if i could map cc controllers to the functions on this it would be soooo valuable.

Great app for regular bread and butter sounds....
I like fact that it comes with preset soundfonts and you can layer them across the keys. I really thought i could use this in a live setting where i can switch presets by touching the preset side of the screen. But it highlights the preset but it doesnt auto load it, so it makes it hard to use it live as you would two load it manually in a two step process into arrangement or setup. I also thought i could workaround that by creating simple setups or arrangements but u cant hear the keys until u load the arrangement. Also the screen that the arrangement load screen doesnt stay open to add different arrangements. I still like the app cause i have a lot of bread and butter sounds but it needs more development and it can be a lot more useful for playing live with a midi controller at a church worship setting.
