Don’t download this if you actually want to learn
This app seriously sucks. I’m playing every single note correctly and on time and the app doesn’t even pick it up.
Response from developer
We're sorry for the frustrating experience! Accurate note detection is a top priority for us, and we'd love to investigate what went wrong. Please reach out to support@soundgate.ai so we can help. Your feedback helps us improve!
Amazing practice app for guitar
SoundGate makes guitar practice feel much more focused and engaging. I really like the real-time feedback, speed trainer, and the way it helps you gradually improve instead of just playing through tabs on your own. The interface is clean, and features like looping and arpeggio practice are genuinely useful. It feels like a well thought-out tool for actually getting better at guitar, not just another lesson app.

Love it so far
Im usually uncomfortable but its really clear and puts me at ease
I love the visual approach
I’ve only been using it for a little while but so far I’m really liking it. Feels polished, runs smooth, and it’s actually helping me stay consistent with practicing. It’s not just showing chords, instead it actually shows you what you’re doing wrong. Hope they keep adding new features.
My at home teacher for free
New to guitar and was not motivated after a few in person lessons and shopping around paid guitar learning apps. This not only gives me the tools like note correction, its also free and gives me the confidence to take in person lessons again. This will be one of those apps that i willing want to give money to. Thanks for the great work.
