What's New in SoundGlyph
1.2.0
October 10, 2026
1.2.0: LEARN LETTERS • A new Learn letters section for all 13 writing systems, with your progress in each. • Meet new letters one at a time: see each letter, hear it, and learn its name. • Hear each letter spoken in its own language's voice. • Letter forms: capitals, end-of-word shapes, and Arabic letters as they change within a word. • Look-alikes: tell apart letters that are easy to mix up, like Cyrillic р and Latin p. • Trace and write letters with your finger, or from memory. • First words: sound out real words in 8 scripts once you've learned enough letters. • 7 new sounds, including the vowels a, ee, and oo. A SHARPER PUZZLE • Power tiles: match 4 for a line clear, 5 for a tile that clears a whole sound, or an L or T shape for a burst. • New boards: shaped layouts, stones to break, and a boss puzzle every 10 levels. • Hints now point to one tile and its sound. Finding the move is up to you. • Swaps that don't make a match slide back and cost no move. • Reach the goal and the puzzle ends. Your leftover moves become bonus points. • Stars are earned for clearing the puzzle, meeting its bonus goal, and finishing efficiently. • The Journey is now grouped into chapters, with a badge for finishing each one. • Faster animations and a tidier layout on phones.
