Cannot share songs to Facebook on iPhone
App correctly identifies songs but will not allow me to share to Facebook.
I have removed the app from both my iPhone and iPad and will not reinstall them until this is fixed.

Very low recognition rate
It barely finds anything, about 40-50% of what Shazam is able to recognize.

Used to be ok now it sucks
Not sure what they’ve done lately but barely finds any songs. Unless you’re looking for US popular radio songs, you’re out of luck. It’s useless.

What happened to SoundHound?
SoundHound used to be accurate. Now between this and Shazam, Shazam’s accuracy for me has been 100%, SoundHound about 60%. Not too sure what happened, but my go to is no longer SoundHound.

Decent idea and database, but pretty poor at recognizing a song compared to the competition.

Rarely finds the song I am looking for. Even once I find the song somewhere else struggles to use lyrics to find the right song

Not for classical music lovers
In my limited practice singing to it the app FAILED to find any of the music & I have perfect pitch. Very disappointed so far. Will persevere a little longer but early signs are disappointing

Poor customer service
If you have your phone stolen and have to delete your email, don’t ask for help and try and get your email updated so you can access your paid subscription.

Not working well anymore
This app used to work great. Over the last few months, (late 2024 / early 2025) it’s been getting worse and worse. Now, it’s not unusual for it to fail to recognize top charted songs. Then try the built-in shazam on the iPhone and it recognizes the song in under one second. Something is very wrong. If the Soundhoud developers don’t do something soon to rectify it, I think it’ll be time to stick a fork in it. Too bad… it used to be so great.

Lost its magic
Sound hound was pretty good until a year or so ago. Originally it would identify nearly everything I sampled, but its ability to the same has waned. Now it doesn’t recognize anything if I type it in. Only occasionally will it recognize through the mic. Maybe it’s just not compatible with the more recent iPhones. Sent in a complaint through the app 6 months ago. Said they were working through issues. Haven’t hear a word since. Today I dumped the app, redownloaded, and still no typed or audio recognition of any famous artist or song. Lost my entire saved “library” in the process. Time to move on!
