Garbage
This app is a piece of garbage. I have trouble working at all the time on my iPhone 13. The phone works just fine. This is the only app that has a problem. It used to work just fine. It doesn’t need an update. My phone doesn’t need an update. This app is just garbage. It stops working all the time and I’m sick of it! Then I can’t figure out what the song is before the song is over. Thanks for wasting my time and storage space!

Love this app. Best. One thing that refrains me from using it is the lack of pip.

Simply awful
This app has got to be the absolute worst song identifier on the Apple Store. Seriously, it just spins and spins and spins until it regretfully informs you that it can’t find whatever it is you’re looking for. Don’t waste your time.

What happened?
SH hasn't found a song in weeks. Lay the phone next to speaker? Nothing. Don't even ask it to find music without words (Impossible Germany - Wilco!) and Shazam found it in 5 seconds. SH could not find it after 3min
Having issues finding songs
App needs an update. Having issues getting to share songs on social media and doesn’t recognize songs.
More like Music Never Found!!!
App works fine for a little while, but then works not at all. Constant searches with unfounded results. Have had this app for years, but only works part of the time and then just sits on my phone not being used. Whoever, whatever, or how ever this app needs to be improved needs to be done, never produces search results, always shows no results found and that’s with songs from the radio with clear sound. ~Not a happy user~

Inferior to Encore
While this app is without doubt, inferior to Encore as far as recognition goes, it does have some redeeming qualities, one of which is playlists.
Head to head with Encore, this app is bested by Encore on virtually every other feature.
Encore has better recognition, faster, and considerably fewer dropped connections. But the playlists option is Soundhounds redemption in that you can load up your playlist, pop on your headphones, and listen to full songs, full playlist. One other perk Encore doesn’t have is the ability to search for songs manually and add to your playlist.

Last dozen times I’ve used the app it doesn’t recognize the song. I even tried it on a U2 song just to see, and it didn’t recognize it 🤡. Deleting, it’s just taking up space on my phone

Used to be pretty good but in the last months it couldn’t identify several well known rock songs like G&R Sweet Child of mine .6 try’s six didn’t know .
Keeps saying "no internet connection"
I'm connected to the internet. I can play YouTube videos and listen to music. I've tried wifi and cellular. Keeps saying "No internet connection...." LAME!
