Very minimal library to be charging a monthly subscription, honestly ridiculous that they’d even try that.

Best sound app I’ve ever tried. Useful for focus, mediation, sleep, destressing, or just pleasant sound tracks as. A backdrop to your day. Clearing 1 is a nature sound scape unique to this app I love having on. Give it a try.
More stories/voices
Love this app. I’ve had it for over 2 years and I listen every night to sleep. Hoping the developers can add some new stories and voices soon. Some of the stories are great but the voiceover option is not very pleasant to listen to. Still love all the options. Love this app! Just more voice options please!

Tricky pricing- Scam
Under the pricing menu it says Soundly Weekly-
$2.99 Daily. All I know is I was being charged by Apple 2.99 all the time and finally figured out it was this stupid app dinging me left and right. I cancelled but it charged me again today and says my plan will cancel July 6. So I guess I’ll be charged 2.99 daily for another week. No way to stop immediately ???

That’s such poor form, charging $93 automatically for year if you don’t cancel the app. And the app isn’t that good, certainly not $93 good. For $93 I expect to own the app. You people are crooks and rip off merchants . Honestly, justify to me, how you can charge that yearly? No longer being updated
Love this app, but sadly it is no longer being updated with new sounds and stories, missing many of the newer stories and music. Will update the review if things change.
My new favorite
I recently learned that my Pzizz subscription also works with this app, so I gave it a try and it’s already become my favorite. It’s fast to set up a “sleep soundtrack,” and they do help me fall asleep faster. So many options to choose from too! It’s well worth checking out!
I do have a couple suggestions for changes. First, I’d love a favorite mix to be able to include a sequence of spoken tracks instead of just one. I’d love to be able to delay the start of the spoken track as well.

Expensive
I wish it was cheaper it’s not worth the service. It is a cool app though.
I used to love this app
Being a college student, focus is absolutely necessary for success in classes, and using this app gave me the focus and the precision I needed. Now that the creators put up a paywall, looks like I’m going to have to find a new app to use and love. Will not recommend this app anymore and my family members have already deleted off of their phones as well.

It really helps me sleep at night. Before, I would constantly have troubles falling asleep. It’s great and all but it costs way too much
Expensive app
To be honest app is good sounds oky but it is expensive. Should be 4.99$ a month not double of that amount. I’ll pass this one. Not mind paying but don’t want to overpaid. For now I can’t give you more than one star. Sorry!

Lovers of Pzizz will enjoy this app. The soundscapes are appropriate and well paced. Building your own comforting sound or focus environment is made easy with soundly.
Wonderful app
This is exactly what I was looking for in an app for sleep, meditation, and focus. I tried their mesmerize app too but I found that I mostly enjoyed the sounds so this app works better for me. In particular focus music helps me study without getting distracted, unlike a Spotify playlist where I may get distracted to jump from song to song. Keep it up and keep the new sounds coming!

Was good but is now ruined
It was good for awhile as I was struggling to sleep. That was until now when I logged on to check it out it says to use the app at all I need a subscription the free stuff before was perfect. Guess what? Now you have ruined it! Thanks a lot
GOOD!!
Ive been using this to cancel the noisy from my sister. She loves to laugh, sing and shout at night. Sometimes i feel like ripping her vocal cords out. This cancels out most of the noise and i would just fall asleep not knowing when it even stopped!! I LOVE IT!! :)
Worst app, limited sounds
Don’t bother downloading this app, with their selection of sounds the app should be free. Not worth it at all.
Additionally the company is shady, I downloaded the app for the 7 day free trial and they automatically charged me $60 the second I downloaded. I can’t get a hold of their support team and they do not respond when I asked for a refund because I didn’t want to use the app.

I think there's some misunderstanding, as we can't charge you directly, only Apple can and furthermore you must go through their authorisation process in order to be charged. And our support team are always on hand to help, please send an email to support@soundly.app.
This app is a scam.
I use white noise so I can fall asleep because it’s loud in my dorm. I thought this was a normal free white noise app, but apparently you get automatically signed up to a yearly $60 charge. I’ve only had this app for a few months and now I have to pay $60?! Not cool. I obviously wouldn’t have gotten it if I had known I’d be charged. I reached out to their email but didn’t get a response. Disappointed.

Charlotte, sorry for the misunderstanding but it is clearly stated both on the App Store and within the app when you first open it up that you are given a trial period, after which (and only if you activate the subscription with Apple) you will be charged for a yearly subscription unless you cancel it. Alternatively, you give you the option to bypass activation and simply get the trial period, with no automatic charge attached to it. I'm sorry to hear you weren't able to get a hold of our support team. Were you sending emails to support@soundly.app?
