There are essentially three versions of this app, with this one being the best due to its ability to act as a controller, or controller plus in-app sounds. What would make it complete, would be to add AU3.

Not made for iPhone
Impossible to play single note on iPhone.
They had a button for this on sound prism pro (along with other buttons now missing) but got rid of it and used the space for the expression thing.
I thought it would've been nice to have an option between the expression or the buttons.
Sounds are there but too .... crazy but you can make it work.
Bottom line. Got an iPhone? What less features and more strange sound presets? If you have Sound prism pro don't get this.

Keeps crashing on startup on iPad 2017 128Gb
Picked this up with the Enthusiasts bundle but whereas the other SPs run ok this one just exits when starting up on my iPad 2017 128Gb. Runs OK on iPad mini 2 32Gb so what gives?

Sound prism pro macht mein iPad 1 zu einen polyphonen Keyboard. Und sound prism Link bringt es in in die Synchronisation. Ich würde ein gebrauchtes iPad kaufen und nur diese App darauf laufen lassen.

Utilissima app. Molto ispirante per creazioni intuitive/istintive....
La consiglio, però, per le mie esigenze avrei due richieste che riguardano l'utilizzo della app in particolari situazioni:
Un registratore nativo audio (anche multitraccia?) incluso nell'app, per scrivere/memorizzare le composizioni al volo.
Un registratore nativo midi, per esportare le composizioni, i relativi accordi etc. ed utilizzarle su altre app, con altri sistemi tipo MacBook.

Rekindled my interest in music!
Keyboard skills aren't a strong point so for me this app makes both a great compositional tool and a way to play the iPad as an instrument in its own right.
As a performance app it's up there with the likes of Borderlands Granular and Patterning, and yet it's so simple! Which is where Soundprism really scores, keeping the complexity away and helping me find my way around different scales and chords. This has made my music come alive. Top quality app. Thank you Audanika!

Ich arbeite ausschließlich mit Ableton Live als DAW und dank Link ist die Integration von iOS Musik-Apps unglaublich komfortabel, auch so bei dieser, die ich allerdings nur als Midicontroller benutze.
Die integrierten Sounds sind auch schön, aber man hat keinerlei Möglichkeit Parameter der presets zu ändern, muss man auch nicht, wenn man die eigenen verwenden kann 😉
Ich kann zu den andern Versionen der App nicht viel sagen, da ich mir bewusst die mit Link besorgt habe, allerdings ist es schon fragwürdig das nicht die Pro Version einfach ein Update bekommen hat, wie bei ungefähr jeder anderen App die Link integriert hat. Alle die darauf gehofft haben sind verständlich enttäuscht. Außerdem hat wohl die Link Edition nich so viele Features hat wie die Pro.
Allerdings muss ich auch sagen, das mir die App in ihrem Umfang völlig reicht und ich erst im Nachhinein von der zweifelhaften Verkaufsstrategie erfahren habe.
Ich benutze es gerne um mich einfach ein bisschen inspirieren zu lassen und das funktioniert einwandfrei.
Einziger technischer Kritikpunkt für mich ist, das die App auch im Standby fleißig am Akku lutscht. Wenn man sie im Hintergrund laufen lässt sind 50% in 2-3 h weg, so zumindest bei mir. Vielleicht schauen da die Entwickler auch noch mal drauf 😉

Incredible app!!
So much u can do with this!! It's such a rad tool to use alongside Ableton! Perfect for jamming w a friend!! I am a part of live improvised jam sessions and use this all the time synced w my push. My only request would be MORE SOUNDS please!!!! Maybe some type of incorporated simple looper would b so awesome to. So u could overdub 2 diff instruments on top of each other!!!! Those r my only 2 requests lol!! Plzzzzz it would this the best music app fersure!!

Already bought pro twice to get it on both devices, just splurged on electro because I wanted to support product line and was feeling optimistic about the future of that product. Now instead of updating your releasing yet another basically identical version of the old app with an added feature that rightfully should have been in an update. Enjoy my $5 you greedy trolls.

Great sounds with minimal keyboard skills
With this app you can quickly produce some very beautiful music. You can also use it to control other instruments taking full advantage of the touch capabilities of the iPad. Should be in everyone's toolkit!
Sounds great . I'm sold at the concept
This is the best thing since sliced bread. Two minutes into using this app for the first time and I'm already in love .... Msg to the developer ..More sounds please and I would also like to save my own favorites.
Some limitations
I use SoundPrism Pro as a midi controller, and got this out of loyalty - and curiosity. Some good sounds are built in to this new version but they're fairly limited so it will still mainly be used by me to send midi to other synth apps. I miss being able to send single notes, having constant triads is very limiting. The phone version is rather more restricted than iPad version on that point. Lose a star. Now for the big one. Advertised on App Store as requiring less than 50mb but in reality Link Edition takes up 349mb. Greedy and misleading. In comparison SP Pro (plus all in app purchased sound packs) takes up only 72.5mb. So if you are memory limited - I use spare memory to record music - then think carefully before getting this version.

Es ist die gleiche App wie SoundPrism Electro, nur mit anderen Sounds. Die Sounds sind gut. Weitere Features wie Midi-Optionen sucht man vergeblich.
Not loading on 4S!
Crash systematically during installation of soundpack on first opening. Never been able to play once with it...
