How does SourceExtract find media?
It uses four methods: IMG & picture tags, video tags, CSS backgrounds, and network resources captured via the Performance API. It also penetrates Shadow DOM and traverses same-origin iframes.

Yes, after scanning, you can browse results in a grid or list view, filter by images, videos, or all media, and sort them. Each item shows its dimensions, file size, and discovery method. You can then select specific items or all of them for download.
