About

A sourdough timer that plans your entire bake, not just the next step. Tell Yeast on East when you're starting. It works out every fold, every rest, the bake, and the exact time your loaf comes out of the oven. No mental arithmetic at 6am, no sticky notes on the counter. WHY NOT JUST A KITCHEN TIMER A timer counts down. It doesn't know that a 24°C kitchen ferments dough faster than a 19°C one. Log your dough temperature and Yeast on East re-times every remaining step around it — bulk ferment, proof, and your finish time all move together. BUILT AROUND YOUR START TIME Pick a recipe, say when you're starting, and every step lands on a real clock time. Change one thing and the rest moves with it. WHAT YOU GET · Four recipes to start from — country sourdough, Neapolitan pizza, same-day focaccia and sauerkraut — with hydration and timings built in · Build your own recipes — three free, with any number of steps, and hydration calculated as you type · Alerts for every fold and shape, so you can leave the kitchen · A Live Activity and a home screen widget showing the step you're on · Dough temperature logging that re-times the whole schedule · A bake log with photos, ratings and notes, so you can see what worked · A pantry for jarred ferments, tracked on your dates, not ours · Beyond bread: build any ferment on a schedule — kimchi, hot sauce, yoghurt NO ACCOUNT, NO SUBSCRIPTION Your bakes stay on your device. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to log into.

Small update, mostly about the bottom of the screen. SLIDE BETWEEN TABS Hold anywhere on the tab bar and slide — the highlight follows your finger and you land on whatever you let go over. Every tab is one gesture away now instead of four. "LOG" IS NOW "HISTORY" The tab holds ferments as well as bakes, and a bread word was telling jar keepers their sauerkraut lived under "Bakes". Same screen, same entries, a name that fits both. FIXED · Logging a dough temperature now re-times every fermentation step that follows, not just the one you logged it on · The share sheet no longer opens blank · The launch animation plays through instead of cutting off early
