Love the bank App for mobile deposit needs major work
I love being able to do mobile
Deposit but when the app can not read For Mobile Deposit only on a Check and it takes 43 tries to get it to read it makes for a not so great experience. That is the only improvement that the app needs

Absolutely love this bank
The ability to deposit checks online, transfer money, and pay bills is great. I have always had great customer service with Southern States Bank!

Open accounts 3 months ago and has been a very good experience to date. Very pleasant staff.

Yes you do have to go in and sign a piece of paper to sign up for online checking, which I did. Have never had a problem. The moment I take a picture of a check through their app it automatically shows up in my account. And so long as I leave $100.00 in my checking account I’m free to withdraw however much I like so long as I have the funds to withdraw.

Horrible bank and app
I had an account before they merged together. Small town bank was amazing. Now they have become this and have ruined how I use my money. Only allow me to take out $400 a day max no matter how much is in my account. I asked about depositing a check online and they said “we haven’t signed you up so too bad.” This bank in general is garbage and you cannot use your own money

Useless because the app crashes as soon as you open the app

Can not access my app at all. It is awful being unable to access my accounts. Have tried everything but it will not open. Worst app ever.

Slightly disappointed
I was with CCB and they've transitioned into Southern States. CCB's let you do mobile deposits, this one doesn't seem to have that feature. I don't mind going to the bank to put my checks in, but mobile deposits just make things so much easier.
Other than that, the app seems to run smoothly, I just have no use for it really.
