What's New in Sovault

1.9.0

August 25, 2026

• The 100-song import limit is gone. Import your entire library, free. • New: start a 14-day free trial of every Premium feature — no payment required. • Advanced format playback (APE, DSD, WavPack, TAK, WMA, DTS and 25+ more) and importing directly from SMB/FTP/WebDAV servers are now Premium features. Everything you've already imported stays in your library and stays visible; MP3, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, WAV, AIFF and Opus remain free to play. • New Auto-Organize: files are filed into Artist/Album folders on import and after tag edits. Off by default — turn it on in Settings. • New sleep timer: stop at the end of the current track, or after a set number of minutes. • New square artwork theme on the Now Playing screen, and a new sequential play mode that stops when the queue ends. • Tidy Up gains two new categories: low-quality files, and possible duplicates — keep one copy, merge its play count, rating and playlists, and clear out the rest. • New Activity Center collects batch imports, syncing, organizing and quality analysis in one place. Every batch import now writes a report you can open later, listing exactly what was added, skipped or failed — with the filenames. • Bit rate, sample rate, channels, bit depth and codec are now stored for every track and shown in Get Info. • Open audio files straight into Sovault from Files or Finder using Open With. • Sync improvements: empty folders and .lrc lyrics files now travel with your library. • iOS lists now use the system multi-select gesture, and the mini player shows playback progress along its bottom edge. • Many fixes: shuffle no longer reverts to sequential order after two tracks, batch tag edits refile correctly, multi-select actions apply to the whole selection, and empty folders stop reappearing across devices. On Mac, libraries of 1,000+ tracks scroll and switch far more smoothly, and list state is no longer lost when changing sections.
