About

Your words, your pace. Soyla helps you read comfortably while recording yourself. Write or paste a script, or open one from a document, make it easy on your eyes, and let it move the way you like: at a steady pace you choose, by hand, or following your voice. MAKE ROOM FOR YOUR WORDS Create, rename, and organize scripts in your own library. Start one from a Word (.docx), RTF, Markdown, or plain-text document; headings, bullets, bold, and italic come along, and the file is read on your device. Your edits save automatically, with undo and redo. Add sections, pauses, breaths, emphasis, notes, and bookmarks from a menu, with no syntax to learn. Compare earlier versions of a script and restore one. There is no app-imposed script-length limit. READ AT YOUR OWN PACE Scroll from 50 to 260 words per minute, by lines per minute, or to finish in a set time. Step line by line, jump to any section, or repeat a passage while you rehearse. Adjust text size, typeface, spacing, line width, colors, and reading position, and mirror the prompt for a teleprompter rig. Read in portrait or landscape. FOLLOW YOUR VOICE Optional. The script keeps up as you speak, holds when you pause or go off script, and lets you tap any line to pick up from there. Speech is recognized on your device and never sent anywhere. Afterwards, Soyla offers the pace you actually read at as your pace. Where on-device recognition isn't available, the script keeps the pace you set. RECORD WITHOUT LOSING YOUR PLACE Record with the front or rear camera and your script on screen. Choose resolution, frame rate, and HEVC, set focus and exposure, and check your sound with a live level meter. A countdown gives you time to settle in. Pause or repeat the script while the video keeps recording. For a retake, start from any sentence instead of the top, and let the take stop on its own a few seconds after your last line. Practise aloud records sound only, so you can listen back first. REVIEW, EXPORT, AND SHARE Play back a take, keep it, or delete it and try again. Trim it with two handles, and Soyla offers to cut the quiet before your first word and after your last; the original is never changed. Soyla checks each take for silence and distortion. Make versions for vertical, square, or wide video, with even loudness, less background hiss, and a cover image, then share them or save them to Photos. Your videos have no prompt overlay or watermark. PRACTICE WITHOUT THE CAMERA Read without recording for speeches, presentations, lessons, or rehearsal. It needs no camera access; the microphone is needed only if you choose to follow your voice or practise aloud. IN YOUR LANGUAGE Soyla is available in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Uzbek. Paces feel the same in every language, including scripts in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. A LOCAL LIBRARY No account, ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. Scripts and recordings stay in the app's local storage unless you choose to share them or your operating system includes them in backups or device transfers. The app does not upload your library. Export or delete everything from About. Editing, prompting, recording, and playback work offline. Recording requires a camera and microphone access. Made by LoadHunter Inc. What's New in Soyla

1.2.0

October 24, 2026

Bring your script in from anywhere, and fix a take without starting over. • Open a document: start a script from Word (.docx), RTF, Markdown, or a text file. Headings, bullets, bold, and italic come along. The file is read on your device and not kept. • Trim a take: drag the two handles on the review screen. When there is a second or more of quiet before your first word or after your last, Soyla offers to trim it. Your original is never changed. • Start takes from any sentence: in Jump to…, choose “Start takes from this sentence”, so a retake picks up where you need it. • Stop at the end: turn on “Stop at the end of the script” in Reading settings, and the take stops a few seconds after your last line. • A new look: calm screens in Soyla’s greens, with every control for reading and recording in one dock within reach of your thumb. • 16 languages: English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Uzbek. Paces feel the same in every language. • Soyla asks before anything is lost, and Reading settings and Camera and sound can each go back to their defaults.
