absolutely in love with and obsessed (but there is one thing)
ok hi so i absolutely adore this game so much. i love the bright colors, the art, the pixel avatars, the characters, the lore, everything. i also love how it isnt terribly difficult to get characters in gacha, level up, advance, get materials, etc. i honestly cannot express my love for this game in words.
BUT, with the most recent update, i have been unable to access the pass. it keeps saying "this event is mot open yet." so i cant get any of my daily achievements from it. it'll still give me the exclamation point showing ive gotten an achievement but i cant see it. and if theres any like player support where i can ask abt the issue in app im not sure where it is :(
regardless i still love the game and cant wait to see how it progresses!

This game is so charming!
I have been aware of Space Leaper: Cocoon since the trailers were first releasing before it came out. I was hesitant, and unsure if the game would turn out as good as it looked.
To my surprise, it brought so much to the table that it’s hard for me to put down sometimes!
Pros:
•Game has excellent graphics that compliment the atmosphere.
•Characters are charming and well written to feel like their own people.
•The gameplay is automized, but rewards good placement of Leapers and keeping your Leapers alive. It doesn’t feel entirely mindless
•The Neutron Stars are very fun to go through, and help bring more thought to combat.
•You do not need to pay a single penny to get all the items you need. All items can be gained through missions and by doing Bounties
•Story is a fun ride to go through, and lets you see the characters all talk.
Cons:
•The character selection is slightly small for my taste, but since this is a new release I can guess that more characters will be added over time
•It can be easy at times if you keep your core party members at their current max level.
Otherwise, this game is very much worth your time, don’t skip over this game due to not many reviews.

I CAN'T sign-in, anymore!
I USED to enjoy this game, but after a while of not playing it, I've forgotten my password. Devs NEED to STOP signing people out of games after every Update! I understand it's for Security reasons, but alot of people use Pins! And while alot of people do use Pins, people like me have Our phones on us 24/7, so this "Security Measure" is just like MicroSoft's Credit Card Requirement to use Gift Cards: It's stupid and pointless! Not only that, but I have requested a Password Reset for my Account a few times, prior to this Review, and I have NOT even gotten even a single Password Reset E-Mail!

I Have Been Trying to pull a certain character WestyWood Was who I wanted to complete my collection and All I keep Getting Is Clara or Becky. I dont really want them Im sorry for over reacting but To my point on getting who I want is a slim to none chance. If I Can Get her through mail or gift I would be happy. Account Missing?
This game has always had a lot of charm and tasks to keep you busy as you casually played. I truly enjoy the light grinding it has, more so with casual gameplay than events. I was one of the many who preordered and made some decent progress with Leaper collecting and leveling.
But I recently got back to the game after a few updates and it seems my account has been lost. I tried signing in with my Apple ID and the login failed, thus making me restart the entire game! I’m not sure if I have to play through the entire tutorial again in order to get the preorder items I lost, or my account is lost for good. I hope there’s some way to recover it.

High Quality and Entertaining
When I first got this game I mentally prepared myself for the myriad of money grubbing gacha games chocked full of ads and pay to play, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that couldn’t be further from this game.
First, it has a number of features which it introduces and improved upon throughout gameplay. My favorite part is that even low star characters can become as powerful as any other character through upgrades and that there are such a large variety of daily activities which can help in that process.
Second I appreciate that the game rewards you for strategy and taking the time to place your Leapers carefully. It makes winning a difficult battle more satisfying and the experience of fighting many times in a row less repetitive.
My one real gripe (which I’m guessing comes from the localization) is that occasionally text seems to be missing from the conversations with the Leapers.

A game worth while
It takes a while to understand the mechanics, but the unique mechanics is one of the draws. There were times where I was able to beat a more powerful enemy by tactically rearranging my units, not a thing that would be possible in most games. The game is generous, but let’s face it all new games usually are until they can get a larger following. The style is to die for, I love the colorful and futuristic feel. It is still under construction so there are some things that need to be dealt with. Overall it is a good game for those who are looking for a new way to waste time.

Password isn’t working
I don’t know how else to reach customer support cause I can’t sign into the game basically I’ve had the game since launch and stoped playing it around the beach event and I want to get back into it but it keeps telling me that my password has to be between 6-20 characters and I’ve changed my password I think 4 times now each with a different length but that message keeps popping up. I don’t know how else to fix it.

Great game!
This game is an awesome experience and a terrific game to pass the time!! The cast is full of colorful, lovable characters, the gameplay is simple but addicting, and the gacha system is so far so good!
Though I will admit, I do think there is something lacking with the game. To me it feels like a copy and paste of many other gacha games, and many aspects of it seem rather hollow and generic. The game truly has potential to go above and beyond the majority of it’s genre yet it stays in this sort of box and for me that just makes it have less worth than it could have. Altogether, it could definitely improve with the uniqueness of it’s gameplay; but I still do think it’s a great game! Just sort of underwhelming. I still recommend it though!

Is there stuff missing?
I really like this game but I stared to notice something’s missing like texted for characters and ( this mite just be the gacha system) but very lacking variety of drops to the point that I’ve received the same one so many times that I don’t even need any other form of Exchange to level them. Not only that but the system of type verses has not ones ever mattered ones The entire time I’ve played and some of them are so under powered that there is zero and I mean zero reason to pick them, I get that your higher ranking ones are supposed to be strong but man just don’t bother. I spent about 30 or so dollars on this and doesn’t feel like a big difference which is good but know I just feel like it’s so hollow like this game is beautiful it is just great art style but it just needs more life, like breaking the fourth wall don’t just break it smash it go nuts stop playing safe stop being a cut out of ever single gacha we’ve all seen! This has potential like real potential and want to see it at the top.

High Quality, Adorable Characters, & Developed Storyline.
I honestly never write reviews, most games just don’t intrigue me enough. However, after I downloaded this, that factor changed. They have extremely high quality characters and their storyline is decently developed. I’m not far into the game, but playing it just melts time away! There’s a good mixture of adorable, childish, and mature characters. The idle animations look amazing! I’ve never heard of this game before and honestly just came across it on the App Store whenever I was searching for something out of boredom. I definitely recommend this for anyone who plays Genshin Impact, Skye, or any other games similar to them. It blows my mind that i’ve never heard of this game before and i’ll definitely be recommending it to my friends as well.

Great but a new bug has come up.
So far, Space Leaper has been amazing, Great character designs, an interesting storyline, awesome gamemodes(is that the right word?) and fantastic usage of Live2d. However, there is a new problem that has arisen after your latest maintenance session; Leapers’ astral message text is missing and it seems like text is missing from the survey missions as well. Assuming that text is also missing from the main storyline, I won’t be opening the app again, until this is fixed, because it’s kinda annoying to not know what any of my characters are saying! And it’s not just me who has this problem by the way, this is a server wide bug. In any case, I hope to see this bug fixed and hope you all the best for this game!

Ok game, but MAJOR issues
The overall story is ok, but the actual gameplay gets very boring. Watching the same sprites attack each other without a way to fast forward more than 4x is mind numbing. Also, the tournament with other players has a refresh that you must spend the cubes on, but it doesn’t actually give you any new opponents.
The art is very cute though. I likely won’t continue playing this game often, but I think that the artists did a great job.

Fun but unfair
Really fun game and all, characters are cool. It was fair at first leveling up the characters and their gear, but I literally can’t play iridescent array anymore because you boost the boss’s level so high, it’s not even up 5 lvls it’s up like 20. Peru’s emporium does not refresh its items! It’s been 3 weeks and the analog campaign section still isn’t restocked of items. Instead of doing that monthly bull**** do weekly, stop making it so difficult to advance without actually buying stuff, you will lose so many players this way. This game has so much potential and it’s being ruined.

Adorable Art Direction, But No Real Gameplay?
This game caught my eye immediately with it’s cute style. The characters and UI and overall design all pop off and have some great energy. However, the actual gameplay feels lacking. The most interaction you have during levels is placing your chosen units and then pressing start. You then watch your game pieces move automatically and even use their singular actionable skill without input (assuming you have auto on). Kind of disappointing as I prefer a bit more…gameplay, in my games. I understand having auto options for when you want yo do some simple leveling or mat/currency grinding while doing something else. But in this case there isn’t really any manual gameplay. A shame, because everything else is great.

Kind of disappointed
Currently playing the game. All of the girls are extremely cute and for the first couple weeks of me playing it was extremely fun and rewarding but after this most recent patch I found it’s far more difficult and time consuming to play and makes me not want to do certain aspects of the game all together. neutron star is entirely too difficult to play and I can’t get past the first 25% of each stage even with all of my characters being at level 105 when I could easily breeze through the game in one go. The current event is also very confusing and I don’t know how to achieve the actual ending and prices of this event so I’ve all but given up on it. It is also become incredibly difficult to level up my characters as a Free to play player. it’s just not as fun as it was when I first started and now I’m debating if I should even continue playing…

Borderline P3d0 bait
I played this game for a while, loved it, even spent money on it!! Then realized that several characters that they’ve sexualized in ads and retweeted nsfw art of canonically have the mental and physical age of preteens. (Looking at you Doranana). I genuinely don’t understand why you would give characters canonic ages as minors if it’s not to appeal to p3d0phile anime fans. I also found it really weird that there are very few POC characters and one of the only ones they’ve added is just a black version of one of the white characters? I don’t understand why they didn’t just make her her own separate character or make the character black to begin with instead of only giving her dark skin in an AU. It feels really disrespectful. In general the game is really cute and fun, the art style is wonderful, but I can’t play or support something that blatantly is trying to appeal to people attracted to children/l0lis.

Not sure why the scores are so low. The characters are super cute and the art is beautiful. The pixel art is adorable!! The gameplay is simple and straightforward, but I personally have no problem with it. It’s satisfying enough to make characters stronger.

Much better than I thought
Here are my thoughts about this game: First of all, the graphics and animation are very smooth and have a high quality, and the characters are all very likable. I especially love the vaporwave background and ui style that’s very unique. Even though progression slows down quite a bit after a couple hours of playing it still gives you enough resources to upgrade while still giving a good challenge. The only complaint I’d have is that the game seems to have a problem with reloading the entire game even if I only closed out for 10 seconds, other than that, 9/10, highly recommended.

I have only played this game for about 5 hours so far, but I’m really invested. it effectively combines having an engaging storyline and cast of characters to be interested in while still making dialogue short and sweet to allow for tons of gameplay. the menus are all very easy to navigate, and, despite that, still have an extensive selection of things to do. character design, menu navigation and gameplay; everything is an absolute 11/10 for me. I saw ads for this app all over Instagram before it even released, and I couldn’t have even imagined a more perfect game to exceed my expectations. thank you so much to the developers for an amazing game, and I cant wait for future updates and to see the evolution of this already stellar game.
