I love this game!

Alright, let’s start with the basics. This is the best space game I’ve ever played on the App Store… BUT!!!! THE ONLY PROBLEM… is the planet variety. I mostly see the same 4 types of planets—that’s why you need procedural generation 👻👻 also can you add the solar system we have as the starting point? Like on earth? Alright back to the positive part. The planets feel life-sized and super big like you’re just some guy in a HUMONGOUS galaxy! It hits the spot for me, like I wanted a free game like space engine for so long! You are THE BEST!!! Thank you for producing this magical and astronomical (get it?) game 🥹🥹🥹

Impressive!

Incredible concept and very interesting gameplay! Jesus bless you all! 😃

Awesome

Love this game it’s really cool to see a game like this on my phone. Hoping for a featured with interactive life scattered across the galaxy on planets one day

Lot of fun

I’m enjoying the game and have only one suggestion. Can you please put a confirmation button asking if you really wanted to purchase that planet base? I’ve built at least 5 bases I never intended to but my finger grazed the button and boom . A new base…

Stupid small font

Impossible to read or play as everything is stupid small to read of the iPhone 12!

Impressive !

First day playing the game and I’m already in love with it. The graphics are nice! The idea of exploring star systems and planets and claiming them can get addictive, as expected with effective games lol. I like the speed control, as sometimes I just like to coast through space and through star systems and fly by at slow speeds to check out the view and just keep flying.

I like the option to uncheck the HUD to see thru the window without distractions, but would be nice if you added a full-screen version of the front view.

Overall this game is awesome, and added to my list of favorites!

Nice job!

Edit: I hope this edit is visible to developer. I love your game! One issue though—I recently changed my Apple Game Center profile name, and the old stars and planets I owned with the old name didn’t carry over with the new name. Is there a way to fix this on my end or your end?

Thanks for your time. Awesome game!

WOW !!! Awesome next step

Starship fans will really get excited over this step up over Starship 3. Not a silly shoot em up or Piratical game. This is more of a simulation than a game thing. Real Physics, real Space adventure. SpaceX fans will really get a kick out of this. Become a Starship Captain of your own explorable Universe. I’m 87 and enjoy the heck out of it. See you out there!

Looking good

Loving the game

Response from developer

Thank you for letting me know about this. I will be adding an Emergency Rescue button to the starbase control panel that will transport your ship back to the galaxy center. Not sure what could cause this. Look for it in the upcoming 1.3 update.

Looking good needs work

Really loving where the company is going with this simulator design and I love the new star system map, my problem is the game glitched out and I’m stuck in a star base that is actually nowhere near me and I’m unable to undock, and my ship is basically stuck frozen in space, hopefully they figure out this glitch and update

Amazing

So here’s my Day Two gameplay observations.

I like this update. First thing I spotted was a black hole. Perhaps the starting point of the game is at the center of the galaxy?

Approaching the star and the transition from space into the solar system, into the atmosphere and onto the planets was seamless. By far the best upgrade feature that makes it feel more like a simulation. You don’t have to click the “explore/leave” buttons anymore to enter or exit a solar system.

The galactic plane and orbit vectors are a nice touch and I like that you can toggle them on or off.

The planet and moon graphics are way nicer. So far I’ve encountered deserts, water and lava. Can’t wait to see the other planet models.

The side missions are cool. Random meteors, crashed ships, alien rescues and cargo delivery missions. The mining laser is also a good addition.

Flight mechanics are similar to SS3. No SETI missions and no anomaly missions. I did enjoy searching for anomalies once I developed a good technique in locating them faster. SETI missions not so much.

I would love to see a cockpit upgrade in the future. The font size is too small to read on mobile. Perhaps cycle through three main panels with controls for 1) Pilot 2) Navigation 3) Rover. That may help create slightly bigger control switches and map views.

Overall I love this upgrade. It feels a lot more like a simulation than before.

Thank you Les Bird! I love this game.

What a great review. Thank you. I will be bumping up the font size in the upcoming 1.3 update. Your ideas for 3 HUDs to cycle through are good, I will see what I can do.
