About
SpamBanish blocks spam calls and filters junk messages—with rules you control, on your device.
Quiet, precise, and built around you.
This version includes every feature at no charge. There is no Premium plan, In-App Purchase, or subscription.
CALL BLOCKING
• Block spam, telemarketing, and unknown callers
• Identify suspicious numbers with caller labels
• Prefix blocking to stop whole number ranges
• Bundled caller-ID list labeled by spam category
• Block numbers from Contacts, and clean empty or duplicate entries
MESSAGE FILTER
• Send junk, promotions, and text floods to the filter list
• Fine-grained categories: transactions, orders, finance, health, offers, coupons, and more
• Message prefix blocking
• Anti-flood: burst messages from the same sender are blocked
• On-device classification so filtering does not require uploading your messages
BLOCKED AND SPAM LIST CRITERIA
A sender is included when:
• You add the number, a prefix, or a keyword rule, including numbers you block from Contacts
• It matches a bundled starter SMS rule, such as senders beginning with 106 or typical unsolicited-marketing phrases
• On-device machine learning classifies the message as junk or as a category you enabled
• Flood protection is on and that sender sends too many messages in a short time
• For calls: you add a block or identify rule, or the number is on the bundled caller-ID list (label only, unless you also block it)
Bundled starter SMS rules cover common unsolicited-marketing patterns; you can edit, disable, or delete them. The bundled caller-ID list labels numbers with categories such as real-estate sales, insurance marketing, loan collection, education marketing, e-commerce promotion, suspected fraud, and parcel or food-delivery notices. Those entries label incoming calls and do not block them unless you add a separate blocking rule. SpamBanish does not download a live third-party SMS number blocklist. Filtering and classification run on the device. Allowlist rules always take priority. Emergency and carrier service numbers cannot be blocked.
CUSTOM RULES

• Test a rule before it goes live

PRIVACY
Call and message filtering runs on device through system extensions. Contacts access is used to choose numbers for blocking rules, and to view, edit, add, or delete contacts.
SpamBanish cannot block every unwanted call or message. Results depend on system permissions, your rules, and list coverage. Emergency and system-protected numbers are never blocked.
