Superb when it works
This is a 10 Star dictionary and I use it all the time when I’m learning Spanish. HOWEVER, it has quit working altogether. I have it on a new iPad and a recent iPhone. I have turned it off and on. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it. When I put in a word in Spanish or English, it gives me a “term not found” message for any word, even a simple,3-letter word. I have sent a request for help to the developer, but have received no response. I’m seriously disappointed and am writing this review in hopes of getting some help. It’s a seriously fantastic app and I hate not being able to use it now.

Good, but wont work offline
Cant use the dictionary when traveling do to data requirments.

The word cuál does not exist in your dictionary. I’m learning Spanish and my lessons have that word in it, that makes your dictionary useless. So, I download another dictionary and there it is ‘cuál’. I’m deleting you now. If I’m wrong please feel free to contact me.

Overall This Is An Excellent App
I just bought this App & also purchased the $1.99 elimination of advertisements option. It provides a good translation & numerous examples using the translated word in various phrases. The pronunciation feature could be better. (You trigger the pronunciation by tapping once on the translated phrase - something the App does not make clear). Also, there is a slider that allows you to adjust the speed which is a handy feature. However, the female voice is not as clear as it could be. Perhaps a male voice would be easier to understand.

Excellent, very thorough
I am an ESL teacher. Many of my students' native language is Spanish. I don't know Spanish. One word translations are useless. This app covers the different meanings and gives excellent examples. And grammar information.

Fast and easy
I liked it, I could easily put in a word I needed translating and it gave me the right choice of words. I actually speak both languages already and I can see how this would be super helpful in a pinch.
