Almost perfect
I love the bilingual app. I am trying to learn Spanish so it is very helpful. My only issue is that the audio doesn’t stay synced with the text. It is slightly off and hard to follow along if you’re trying to read and listen simultaneously. BUT I do love the app
Best Bible app
I love that you can play this Bible app like an audio book and just listen to the pleasant voice reading it to you. I was surprised that the speaker pronounces the complex names correctly.
You can speed up or slow down the speaker’s voice several times (from slightly less than 1x up to 1.75x, in .25x increments). This helps you to adjust the speed from slower if you’re studying, to faster if you’re rushing to finish casual reading quickly.
I love that you can read both English and Spanish at once together if you want to (good for sharing the gospel and witnessing to people who speak a different language). To me, the Spanish voice is as pleasant and accurate as the English voice.
You can highlight verses and make notes. You can easily change the font size of the text if you want to, great for people with low vision. The controls are simple and easy to use, but the features are excellent.
The ads don’t occur very often, but you can pay a small price and remove the ads forever if you want to. If you are installing this for an elderly person (or someone with impaired vision), I highly recommend paying to remove the ads so nothing will interrupt their listening, although like I said, there aren’t many ads.
My favorite part of this app is that you can choose to download the books to your phone so the app even works when you have a power outage.

Best Spanish/English Bible app with parallel text and audio in both languages
This is the best app I’ve found for Spanish and English Bible text in parallel layout. You can also hear the Bible texts read aloud in either Spanish or English. This app is well designed with an intuitive user interface. I love it! I really like how the verse number is highlighted as it is read aloud, so I never feel lost. I also love how you can set a verse to repeat over and over, which helps me when I am memorizing a verse. Thank you for a really good app!

Last update ruined it
I used to really like this app. When I first got the app I paid to unlock all the audio and remove ads, and it was worth it. I recently downloaded all the Old Testament audio so I could listen offline. The latest app update ruined all that. My downloads aren’t there and it is again asking me to pay to unlock the audio. Plus they changed a lot of the format, and it’s harder to navigate.

Frustrated
I don’t like the updates, they changed the voice from Samuel Montoya to this other man’s voice, I’m very disappointed 😔. And I can’t highlight it. Before as soon as I touch the verse it highlight it. I’m very upset.

The new recorded audio is overly-pronounced and recited too slowly to seem natural. Also, switching speakers from male to female in the same passage is an unhelpful distraction. Is there a way to revert or download the app with the previous recordings? The ability to stop/resume audio from the last playback position is nice, but not with the new unnatural recording.

Excellent to refresh Spanish language skills
This is a wonderful app for refreshing my Spanish that I learned in high school and college. I know the Bible well, in English, and so that makes it easier to read it in Spanish and get most of the meaning. And the English is right there if I need it. Wonderful to listen aloud too—and great that you can slow the voice down. Would love a feature that let you tap a word in Spanish to look it up.

Easy to use
I love how easy it is to go from one book to another in church without losing place of the previous book. And I like that the English version follows each Spanish passage by alternating on same page. This is the most useful app for church. I wish it had the RVR1909 or 95.
It also seems to charge me the $7.90 to remove add and to turn on sound everytime I install the app on another of my devices I own or if I add a new Bible version.
