The audio does not work!
I just purchased this application for conversational Spanish. It seemed to have a decent set of phrases and across multiple topics. Unfortunately, when I opened it I found that the audio did not work! Don’t waste your money on this app!

I purchased this app a long time ago. Then I had a problem with the app loading onto my device. I wrote about it in my last review, which was on January 11, 2014. Since then I have tried to reload the app on my iPad. I was successful and I am happy to say that after getting to know the app again I am glad that I got it back. The app itself does not take up very much space on my device, it contains lots of spanish words, it has Audio which is a big plus, and overall I am very happy with it. I haven't had to contact support, but it's good to know that there is a website for that. Lots of apps do not have websites. After so many years of purchasing apps, I have over 100 of them, I've learned that if an app does not have a legitimate website that affords you the ability to contact the developer, then maybe the app is not worth it. So far, so good. I am pleased with this app.

Complete waste of money
There are about a million better and free ways to get the information that this app does not even provide (but advertises). Horribly organized; as if put together by Google Translate. Avoid.
Valuable tool
I like this app and use it often to study parts of speech. It helps me relate what I know of English to what I want to learn in Spanish. It is a reference tool and nicely done.
Needs Work
User interface isn't very good. The first problem you can't hide the English answer when you practice.

Will there be a restaurant talk feature as is with the French version? Otherwise, great app so far!
Where's the sound? Here's the fix
The pronunciations are vital for a beginner, but although they play, there is nothing to be heard!
Just read the faqs and you have to have the mute switch off for this app to work. This is unlike other apps, strange. Useful app with good database of phrases.

I am in Spain right now, from a beginners level this is the most useful App I have found.If you need basic phrases to get along on a daily basis, do not waste any money this one will do it.
Great app for the price!
I have pretty much ran the gambit purchasing Spanish apps, some are helpful and some are just so-so. I took a gamble for .99 cents on this one and honestly I am pleased I did. For a small price you receive a lot of good basic knowledge about learning the basics and foundational skills. What is most impressive is the audio pronunciation of the words spoken, crisp and clear. I would venture to say this is one of the better Spanish language in the app store without reservation.

Great for a beginner.
I read Tina of reviews on tons of Spanish apps before finding one that seemed somewhat useful for (conversational) Spanish! So many apps had poor reviews on even the most basic of spanish apps so I was happy to find an accurate phrase book with spoken words that sound clear and really help with annunciation. I would really love to see more grammar and vocab (versus mostly phrases)! Maybe an update or new app! This interface is great too.

Waste of Money!!!
This shouldn't be called Conversational Spanish, just has basic stuff you can get in the free Spanish apps (and thats not much, the content is not worth the Money) and definitely No help to anyone Actually learning Conversational Spanish.
Search facility terrible
The search facility on this app is almost totally useless - making the app almost totally useless. Complete waste of my money.

Trivial application with only a tiny collection of words. Not worth a buck. Watch an episode of Sesame Street instead.
On the dot...
I have to respectfully disagree with another review. We say "on the dot" all the time in Austin. "We are leaving at 8:00 on the dot, so don't be late!" In fact, amazingly ironically, I had just taken an "On the Dot" taxi from DFW airport to my hotel and kicked back looking for a new app when I read these reviews. I'm an intermediate level speaker and I think this is a great tool for practicing pronunciation and small talk. I found that I have become more relaxed and more natural sounding by practicing such phases - having them on the tip of my tongue ready to fire off. (just learning to say 'este...' instead of 'um' 'well' 'uh' when struggling for a word is invaluable for buying time and still sounding fluent. <just an example. That point isnt in the app>). The voices are clear and natural sounding. The grammer points have served me as a convenient refresher. I dont think it will be very helpful to someone not familiar already with the grammer - the treatment is too simple. I agree that it is begging for more content, especially given all the free resouces available. But really, the app store is about the only place left where you can buy something useful for under a buck - I'm hard pressed to be too critical. For five bucks I have five spanish apps that complement each other, filling in the gaps. I think you'll find this app useful too.

I was looking for a app to help me continue teaching my six year old since he had already learned his numbers and colors in Spanish and he was ready to learn more. I couldn't find anything that I wanted on the app store until I saw this app.

Helpful but more South American Spanish rather than European
As a quick app this is fine. A large selection of basic phrases and a good search facility. Though as the title of this review says, it is more South American than European, which is not a massive problem, but it wasn't clear and should be noted before you buy.
