Had a couple bugs but thankfully I have used this app a few times. Merchants are always active but when they are - it’s super easy.

This app is such a waste of time
You’ll travel from location to location to location aimlessly trying to find one to dispense cash to you only to have most tell you they can’t dispense cash because their drawer is low on cash’s. Just go to a actual ATM. So many banks waive your ATM fees anyway. It took me an hour to find a place to get money plus the time it took me to recover my fees for my first 3 attempts which took 4 days to recoup!

Second is although I was skeptical at first there are a number of merchants in Las Vegas ( where I live) participating. Think of Spare as thr “Speak Easy Underground Railroad ATM” sure you can use 7 11 or Walgreens but you add more options that otherwise wouldn’t be available.

Made a request for $200 and received $4 extra. Transaction. Was free and then I made money. Weird

I just started messing around with the app but so far it’s pretty good. Best part is the awesome support team. They respond almost immediately and work hard to answer your questions and concerns. I look forward to using this app for my transfer needs.
What a scam
Warning this app does not do what it says. Now I have to get money back
Such a trendy app you can’t sign up..
You click the “S”.. then you click the “S” again to sign up because you don’t want to connect your social accounts.. it asks for an email.. then says your email can’t be found. #fail1 you then linked your twitter, and you get the an error #fail2. Uninstall.
Don’t bother
Zero merchants in Chicago (the third largest city in the country, for those who didn’t already know). Don’t bother downloading it.
Fraud fraud
Don’t even bother, and be careful with this app by provided your personal information.
Thank Goodness for SPARE
There aren’t many ATMs near me and the ones that do exist either are out of service or have exorbitant fees. Using SPARE, I can go to the store around the corner for cash.
So easy!
Who carries cash around?! Not me. Such an easy solution. I can take care of payments on the spot and no more IOUs!
Maybe it doesn’t work in my area?
I tried to use the promo code you guys currently have advertised on Facebook and it told me the code was invalid multiple times also when I tried to message you guys about it the app kept telling me to check my connection even when I changed to multiple networks..
Theft - no merchants anywhere
So I decided to try this app because they were giving a $10 bonus of I fill my account with $5 or more.
It was only after I paid $5 that I was able to see that there were absolutely no merchants available in the entire state of Pennsylvania. There was also no way I would get a refund.
To make things worse, I was logged out of the app and the app no longer allows me to sign-in with my google account to view my old $5 balance that I never got back.
This is absolute fraud. It should be removes from the App Store.

Our application works and features are triggered by the available agents in the area. If you did not see an option for PayPal - there is a simple explanation, there aren't any agents in the area that are able to service you. We are growing our service area, we just haven't reached your area yet.
Not even close to being ready...
Every single merchant listed (and there are only three in all of Los Angeles as of writing this) either didn't know how to complete a transaction or didn't even know what Spare was. This service, while it sounds good on paper, is nowhere close to being ready for the public.
Spare is so smart!
