Save Money, Save Food - I love this app
I use spare eat at least once a week, but often 3/4 times. I can’t stop. I have saved so much money on baked goods specifically.
You certainly need to look around to find the best places, but the rankings of the businesses through the app give you a good idea if a place is worth it or not. Some food I’ve gotten through here hasn’t been the best, but any place that was ranked highly was worth it and more.
Its also really fun to have an element of surprise in what you get. Many items that I wouldn’t typically order, I’ve received through Spare Eat bags and then loved them. You do need to look back on the app fairly often if you are looking for a specific place that can sell out quickly, but it’s sort of become an obsession for me.
Overall great app that has saved me a lot of money, allowed me to try lots of new products, and helped avoid throwing food away!
