Need an option to mark a message as “unread.” Sometime you accidentally click open a message and there’s no way to mark it as ‘unread’ and could end up forgetting to respond if you’re unable to reply immediately.
Ratings needed
This is my go to app to find tenants. However it’d be helpful to have some kind of rating system implemented that shows if someone hasn’t turned up to their viewing or responds very slowly or not at all etc. It’d be good to have analytics on who is a serious landlord/tenant.
Penalise No shows
It would be nice to see an option to swiftly report no-shows, specially if they don’t notify you with a few hours. I have had in the past a full week with evening appointments for viewings where only two out of ten showed up. The rest didn’t even bother cancelling, zero consideration for other’s time. People are cancelling/postponing things in their life to be available for you! Show some consideration or be penalised.

Over priced
App is so buggy and unreliable it’s horrendous to use. On top of that you have to pay extortionate prices to message people. Use any other app but this one

Unable to login
I never had issues in returning to Spareroom and logging in with my Facebook account but it became impossible. Tried with google and apple and the same happened. Just deleted the app. Awful in all ways from scammers to not being able to even use the app. Life is already hard why make it worse for people?

Good App, annoying Users
Not a bad app overall, but I think Admin needs to start giving strikes to Flatmates that don’t respond after they put a listing up and maybe their listing gets taken off or moved to the bottom of the pile or something. There is literally an auto-reply feature so it’s quite irritating that people post their Ads and then don’t respond. Like I am paying to get first dibs and yet people are not responding.

Disgusting app, it's impossible to contact anyone without paying. Housing is one of the most basic human rights, yet people are left in miserable situations because of these greedy developers. Totally unacceptable.

Massively gone down hill
Used to be the go to app, but paywalls and shadow bans have made this virtually unusable, I’ve been searching 4 months and don’t get any reply’s to any adds I’ve message, support staff don’t seem to know basic maths let alone how to organise a refund.

WORST EXPERIENCE
i have been trying to make a single post as i’m looking for a roommate for 4 months now. i’ve talked to multiple employees including the owner and have been told i would be approved 5+ times only to be denied every single time and left on read now. i have genuinely never had such a horrible experience, and now i may lose my home because of them.
