Trying to charge my card
I have used this app in the past, and was always my go to when posting shorts.
After some years, I redownloaded it to show a friend how it worked. After agreeing to the free trial, I gave my friend a quick tutorial, then deleted the app and cancelled the free trial.
Since then, Spark has still attempting to charge my card. I’ve reached out to them twice but have had no follow up.

Dual cameras are nice.
Easy but quirky
I have been using spark for probably five years and I love how easy it is to edit videos quickly so even though I can also edit on much more complicated software since I started I often use spark to get my base editing done just because it’s so easy when I know what frames I want what frustrates me about the app is that even after all these years every time I bring in a clip and double it and then edit that first one down it will revert to the original length. So that’s frustrating. I just know I’ll have to go in and edit it one more time in that time it will stick but other than that I still use it and it’s very basic but is a great fast way to edit.

Had on Android for years, went to reinstall on iOS and it want’s $40 a year for something that hasn’t been updated since 2019? How do you flag something as abandoned?

I made this purchase in good faith with the clear understanding that it granted me permanent access to the app’s complete features.
Over time, I understand that Spark transitioned to a subscription-based model. While I fully respect your decision to evolve the product and business model, I am currently facing an issue where my previously purchased access is no longer being recognized, and I am being prompted to subscribe in order to continue using features that were originally included in my paid purchase.
As a customer who supported Spark from its early stages and paid for the full version when it was initially offered, I kindly request that my original purchase be honored. I would sincerely appreciate it if you could restore full access associated with my original purchase, without requiring an additional subscription.
I value Spark highly and have been a loyal user for many years. My request is simply to continue using the app under the terms that were applicable at the time of my purchase. I re-downloaded the app, sign in & thought my photos & videos would have still be on their. But they’re not. I’ll re-download this app before and they were there. But this time their not.

it’s a nice idea, but the combined lack of zoom and the lack of stabilisation makes this very limited.

Exceptional
I enjoy using Spark for editing my videos because it offers intuitive tools that make the process straightforward. However, I wish there were more options to boost the effects, like different snow styles or adding rain and thunder. While I believe the screen templates cover some of these, I feel there's still room for improvement—mainly in creating ultra-smooth effects and adding more creative touches. Maybe also including features to eliminate clip shakiness would be a big plus.
