And yet here I am, to tell you how much I love this app. I downloaded it after seeing an ad on another game and I was a bit hesitant at first because I knew I’d have to subscribe if I wanted to keep playing past the 7-day free trial. But I’d played around with brain training apps for a day or two before deleting, so why would this be different?
And yet, it was. By day 2 I accepted that I was absolutely subscribing to this app.
Fair disclaimer: I ***LOVE*** trivia and my friends know I’m a font of random knowledge. And this app is helping me strengthen my trivia chops further. And it’s ridiculously fun while remaining challenging. (In 18 days, I’ve only managed a perfect score once.)
I love that it’s allowed me to learn about so many topics and if I come across something I’m unfamiliar with, I’ll search more information after the puzzle.
Basically, if you like trivia/want to keep your brain engaged, this is a wonderfully designed and researched way to do so.

Great games, great trivia!
A great app! The puzzles are fun, and I really enjoy the theme most days, especially the historical and space ones. The UI is clean and the games are intuitive, with the option to learn more just a simple scroll or a tap away. The only reason this isn’t a 5-star review is because of the fee disparity between iPhone and android? My friend on android can play 3 of the 4 puzzles every day for free, but on iPhone, it forces you to sign up for a free trial first that rolls over into a yearly subscription if you don’t remember to cancel it; then, only after the trials expires, do you find out you can keep playing for free. I understand why this is done (in the hopes players either love the app enough to support it or forget about the free trial ending and end up subscribing for a year), but I wish the app didn’t ask for my credit card information upfront, before I’ve even decided if I like the games. Otherwise, I have two suggestions for the developers: could there be a leaderboard, so you can compare your score with friends? And could there be a way to access previous puzzles, beyond just the daily rotation? Otherwise, the app is nearly perfect!

Great game
Interesting sections. I enjoy finding out all the new facts. Quick to complete each day.
Not free
If you have to sign up to play, and accept a “free” trial that requires you to cancel to avoid being charged — that’s not free. If there’s really a free version people can try out, then the developers shouldn’t set it up this way. You should be able to download and play without that set-up. People will pay for games that they like. This kind of set-up feels deceptive and unnecessary.

I bought the premium annual subscription on the first day of playing and I have no regrets. I also bullied half of my family into downloading and playing consistently. This app is truly so fun if you like puzzles. I only wish the percentage wasn’t so harsh on the knockout 😣 missing one and getting an 83% hurts my perfectionist soul

AI slop app. For kids maybe, boring.
It’s the same this or that game, but annoying. It’s not in any way a memory recall game. You don’t actually learn anything because the “facts” are just AI SLOP.
Great for learning
I love this app. It’s so much fun, there’s a new prompt everyday on a different topic and there’s a few daily games you can play surrounding the topic. The only issue I have with the app is there’s not enough free options. They want you to pay for Spark Plus which has a ton of games and content but the free option only has limited content.

I love to play this game. It’s not easy. I’m used to making able to max out most games out there. But this one is a little harder and has some information in it that you don’t always know. It’s fun to play and not too hard to discourage you. And you learned so much!
Fun and interesting!
So much fun! I learn something new every day. It’s great to do with my morning coffee and starts my day off with a little curiosity. The editors do a great job of pulling random information into a little themed bite of knowledge! Some days something will spark a deep dive and some days it’s just a fun little tour of information. Either way I find it a great way to start my day!

This game is always so fun. I love when I think I don’t know something, or I have the wrong answer(s) and then I end up getting everything right. Haha. I also love when I get things wrong because I learn so much.
Solid app
Great app really love it, fun way to learn. I don’t like that you have to pay for it and probably won’t keep it past the free trial but it is a quality app
Feels like a scam
It asks a bunch of questions. Then forces you to “try now” for 0 dollars. Like no way am I signing up for something when I have not even tried the product. You can’t skip any of it. Force to link accounts and then ask you to sign up with your Credit card? Nope. There are enough scammers out there. I maybe be a bit paranoid. But after having my identity stolen and massive amounts of debt piled on top(still working through it), this feels a bit much.
