What's New in Sparky AI

2.10.2

October 26, 2026

New in the conduit bender: - Kick tool, two ways: a box kick off the back of a 90 (the IBEW 903 method, with knockout spacing) and a simple kick. - Cut length: Stub-Up now tells you where to cut the stick, and Back-to-Back can add a second stub, drawn to scale. - If your local has no published application schedule, the Locals screen now says so and tells you to call the JATC.

Got ACCEPTED INTO THE IBEW

This is the app you NEED. I tried Khan Academy and Dakota Prep. NOTHING compares to Sparky. Thank you so much I am now starting my first year in IBEW Local 130 Boston. Without this app I would’ve bombed.

Love this app

Using this app I was able to ace my aptitude test and get into local 3 nyc. Also very helpful with the interview part as well.

SPARKY AI : THE BEST

Best app that could help you prepare for the IBEW. Help me passed the test, and I’m a current member of IBEW LOCAL 134. If you want to pass the test download this app simply the best.

AI vibe-coded slop

Just wanted to see what locals around me had open applications like the tictok said it would. The AI couldn't tell me and the rest of the app was useless to this effect. Deleted app

Response from developer

Fair criticism, and thanks for saying it. You should have been able to ask Sparky which locals near you are taking applications, and it couldn't. That's fixed in the latest update. The AI now pulls from our tracker covering 216 IBEW locals and their application windows. If you give it another shot, I think you'll get what you came for. Usually the ai would be dedicated to tutoring for the IBEW interview, but I have updated and fixed your concern. I am trying my best and am not a coder, just an electrician. If you reach out too my email, I can help you out. asksparkyai@gmail.com

Too much going on.

Cluttered app. Seems like certain tools were added for the sake of saying it’s in there.

Response from developer

Appreciate the honest feedback. We added a lot quickly, and you're right that it shows. The latest update cleans things up around what actually gets people into the trade: aptitude practice, interview prep, and application alerts for your local. The tools are there for extra help once you get into the IBEW, and they are free!
