Spatial Sketcher is a dual-tool research application designed for educators, researchers, and spatial analysts. Room Scanner • Generate high-resolution floor plans (3000px) from LiDAR scans • Automatic detection of walls, doors, windows, and furniture • Smart rotation aligns floor plans to the longest wall • Color-coded visualization: walls, doorways, windows, and 15+ furniture types • Export as PNG, JPG, or USDZ 3D models • Includes scale metadata with pixels-per-meter conversion for overlay analysis Transcription Tool • Import audio (MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC) or video (MP4, MOV, M4V) • Record directly within the app with real-time waveform display • Time-stamped transcription segments with confidence scores • Speaker identification for multi-person conversations • Adjustable pause detection (0.5–5 seconds) and segment length (5–30 seconds) • Support for 50+ languages • Export as CSV for data analysis or TXT for readability Built for research Spatial Sketcher was developed as part of PhD research on teacher movement and classroom interaction.
