They prop themselves up by tearing Duolingo down, pettily, at that, and as much as I dislike Duolingo, claiming you’re somehow better? Let’s be real. You’re not.
Your app is a hollow shell, plastered with uncanny, lifeless AI-generated images that make the whole experience deeply unsettling. Who thought launching a language app centered around AI would succeed after everything that happened with Duo? You didn’t see him lose over a million followers? Or how every recent review is a one-star warning?
Oh wait, you wouldn’t notice, would you? Because your own reviews are flooded with bots. So here’s a real one. The first of many.
Stop exploiting the environment with energy-hungry AI programs just to chase profit. It’s vile. You are part of the problem. And honestly, I don’t even need to go into the broken AI, the endless ads, or your translator that gets things laughably wrong, because none of that even compares to the damage you’re helping to cause.
